Chicago... *hides*... I dunno... the only song i really like out of it is "All That Jazz" (only when Bebe sings it), and what I have heard of Bat Boy i can't say i enjoyed either.

Ick.
The Music Man was fun to be in (I was Ewart Dunlop, had a blast), but I don't enjoy the show itself.

I agree, but I did enjoy Kristin in the TV version.

42nd Street, Spamalot and DRS are pretty bad.

But I know people who loved Spamalot but never have seen Monty Python.
well, maybe they like dry british humor.
I'm having trouble getting into Dreamgirls. I've only just had the CD a couple of months, but I just can't seem to get completely into it.
I also really don't like The Sound of Music on stage very much.
The Lion King + Cats. Erghhhno. *tears out hair*
I don't hate WSS, but I prefer not to watch it. Ditto on Rent, was pissed that Daphne was revived.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Sound of Music
On the RENT thing, remember that it really wasn't "finished" as Jonathon Larson died too soon. But I don't much care for the way they ended it either, even though I am still a HUGE renthead.
Rent. The only part I like is "La Vie Boheme."
I'm not a huge fan of most Andrew Lloyd Weber stuff, either. It all seems too... superficial or something. I can't quite think of the word.
Beauty and the Beast : I love some of the songs but the staging was so slow.
The Lion King : Boring
Mary Poppins : Nice sets but long and Laura M. Kelly was not up to it.

Actually Rent was comletely finished when Jonathan died. In fact it was said by one of his friends that Jonathan told him the day before he died that there was only one line of dialogue in the show that he wanted to change. Certainly nothing to the extent of reworking the ending. That said Rent is a wonderful show I just feel it is an adult show for all but ten minutes and then we are all somewhat patronized. (I think her coming back works just not as well as if she just died. If taken as a metaphor it is easier to stomach, but that is a little bit of a stretch).
The Producers - this beat The Full Monty for Best Score??
Mille
Rent - probably the fault of bad productions
Most Rogers and Hammerstein - I've seen productions of most of their shows, and not one has ever made me want to see them again.

Avenue Q and Spamalot.
I can take stupid or crude humor....but only to a certain point. These two cross the line -- Q of crudeness and Spam of stupidity.
And RENT, which I have yet to reeeeeeeeally see, just doesn't connect with me. I'm sure it's great for people who can relate to it...but...yeah...nothin'.
Les Mis. ponderously long.
Sunday in the Park w/ George. pretentious crap.
Contact. won best musical Tony even though it's not a real musical.
This is gonna sound strange but....
"My Fair Lady"
Eliza has some nice songs...but I find most of the characters annoying.
"Producers" and "Aida". I didn't care for "Rent" either.
I loved LaChuisa's "Wild Party".
Les Miserables
Kiss Me Kate
Mame
Camelot
