Go home! (And go to Schmackary's if the line doesn't suck.)

If it is not too crowded, I like to go to Juniors's for dessert. If not there, I also like the Brooklyn Diner. (love the triple layered coconut cake). If all else fails, Schmackary's is a good option also.

"Get on the train & go home"

I used to do that many years ago when I live on LI but now when I am in NYC it is as a tourist and will hang out late.

Depends on your age and interests. I recommend different things to different guests at the hotel. I'm guessing you're asking as a tourist so "go home" won't work for you.  If you're here with your family then cheesecake at Junior's is the first option. If you're on a trip with your girlfriends and your husbands are at home, Juniors still works but add cocktails to that... You might also want to have post-show cocktails at Sardi's or another classy place or Don't Tell Mama if you wanna get a little wild.  If you're looking for more "insider-y" activity you should see a late show at 54 Below or the Beechman. Or hit up one of the "industry" bars that I shall not name for fear of trolls hitting them up too often.  If you're more adventurous I suggest heading down to Marie's Crisis and singing show tunes all night with the regular queens down there.  If you're in your twenties or thirties obviously you should go hit up the pubs or gay bars in Hell's Kitchen.  There's plenty to do in NYC so tell me your interests and I'll give you options :)

Feel free to private message me. This is what I do for a living.

Decompress....assuming it was fabulous.  I want to talk and explore what I've just witnessed, or when it's particularly moving, I just want to bask in it quietly.

It always happens to me that I'm so exhausted by the end of the day after the show I don't even bother going out again

It depends on the night that I go out.

If it's a weeknight then I will probably go out to dinner and then home. If it's a Friday or weekend night then dinner, drinks and then maybe go to a club to dance my ass off.

1. Dessert
2. Sex
3. Rushing home to read others' opinions on Broadway World and validate that I knew what I was talking about when I said this show was gonna be great.

Two truths and a lie.

My friends and I like to match our post-theatre activity to the show. See a family musical? Cheesecake at Juniors or ice-cream sundaes at a local diner. See an elegant period piece? Cocktail it up. See Blackbird, The Humans, The Crucible? Go home and curl up in a ball in the corner on the floor and rock yourself back and forth crying until the demons subside. See Les Miz? French fries!

I love how you didn't categorize Les mis with the group prior.

Juniors slice to go, and make that express A train home!

If staying out, I enjoy Bar Centrale.

If I'm tired, I'll go to Schmackary's and then go home. If I'm energized enough, I'll go to Characters on 54th.

i've got 99 problems and a revival of parade would solve like 94 of them

For colder months, Ramen at Ippudo. And then read the Playbill when I get home.
