"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

"Me - Derrick Trumbley from Spelling Bee Chi-town." Agreed. Kind of. In a sense. I sent him an email way back in february 07 (way back, right? =/) and he was awesome in answering my questions.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I?
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
I've told this story before on here (I think), but Chita Rivera, bar none. I encountered her during the tryout period for BRING BACK BIRDIE, and she couldn't have been lovelier to this goggle-eyed 19 year old. Think about it: she KNEW she was in a bad show, she KNEW it wasn't going to run, she KNEW (or maybe had a suspicion) that it was going to be skewered by the critics, etc. I said "Good luck with your new show, Ms. Rivera!", and she said, with all sincerity and a smile, "that's the thing you could have said. Thank you so much."
I did see BBB, too. Oi vey. But that's another thread. :)
David Hyde Pierce, and the entire cast of curtains really. they are all sweethearts, and all stayed a long time to chat with us. (must see show again) Laura Linney! see my other thread, but she could not have been nicer! took time to take pictures with everyone. Stephanie J. Block definitely! My mom LOVED that show and brought her playbill from it, and stephanie took time to do an elaborate signature and write Sail on across it. Also....Jenna Russell!
Laura Benanti Jonathan Groff Jonathan Gallagher Jr. the whole cast of SA, really, Lea was a bit rushed both times... but... meh, whatev. Beth Leavel too!

He was awesome. I met him backstage before the show with my Bestfriend, Alex and he was awesome and answerd questions and whatnot before the show.
He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.
John Gallagher Jr or Patti Lupone win the this title. Both experiances I had with each are so differnt that neither is better than the other but both the nicest people ever.
<------ Me and my friends with patti Lupone at my friends afterparty for her concert with audra mcdonald during the summer of 2007.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

I've met a couple, but the nicest was Gary Mauer. He was the Phantom on the national tour back in 04-05. He was just a wonderful person! After the show I was waiting by the stage door for autographs and pictures - NO idea who I was specifically looking for. Suddenly there was this tall man standing next to me. He said, "Are you waiting for autographs and pictures?" I said, "Yes i am". Then she said, "I can sign for you." So i handed him my program and said, "Great! Uhhhh.... which one were you?" Then he smiled and said, "Oh, the Phantom."
Yea...I about died!!! I met him after the show on three separate occasions, and every time he hung out to sign autographs, take pictures, and chitchat for a bit. What a wonderful person he is!!
