The Broadhurst is by far the most uncomfortable theater on broadway. It really boggles my mind how they haven't renovated that place to make it at least somewhat comfortable for people paying broadway prices to sit in those seats.
Happy this is working this morning. The fees on Telecharge are half again as much as the discounted ticket, but its a wonderful price nonetheless, and I hope this offer gets some bums in seats. The producers are smart to try to get as many people in during previews.

Just got back from the box office, where the line was slow, but not too horrible. I waited for maybe 20-25 minutes - shockingly, there was only one window open instead of two. My friend and I will be attending the first preview this Thursday and the final preview on April 25th. Looking forward to seeing Carolee on stage again so soon after her last Broadway outing!

I left the box office about fif teen minutes ago, and both Windows had opened before i got there. At the time I left there was no more line and plenty of seats left.
Good to know that they now have two windows open. Thanks. Glad we were all able to take advantage of this deal.

I'm going on April 23rd to the matinee. I guess it helps that they weren't so limiting with seats per show and gave almost an entire month of shows at that price.
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, this show wasn't particularly on my radar to see. But, the $19.75 price was too good to not take advantage of. I have no idea what I am getting myself into with the show. I have also never read the book or seen any movie version. So, I hoping this will be good.

You can buy them online. There isn't a code for it. Just select mezzanine for seating. The seats Row F and above are $19.75. There are less fees when you purchase at the box office, but if you aren't in the NYC area, online does work.

Just got my ticket! It's running really smoothly in there and you can hear the cast rehearsing onstage. It is funny how many people in the line were whining about where the tickets are. It's a $20 ticket folks. What do you expect?
^ And that's why ordering online is better when you can choose your own seats. Unless they are the kinds of people who expected most of the seats to go for that. I'm just glad I didn't get shut out.
I know nobody here as, but there's really nothing to complain about at that price, not when they are giving away tickets in such large quantities for an entire month. I'm very happy we got tickets better than rear side mezz for that price!
And there might still be a rush/lottery policy, so if that's not good enough they can gamble and wait....
Looks like they extended the sale of the tickets until 9:30am Thursday. Probably due to so many people not getting anything early this morning.

Got mine for Saturday night. Even with fees it's like the same price as a rush ticket, so I'm excited.

Kinda surprised they haven't sold better.
Hopefully all the $19.75 seats will go.
Went to the box office and was able to get three tickets, row H center mezz for Saturday night about 15 minutes ago.

Was just there--hardly any line at all (10 minutes, if even that). Looks like there are still plenty of seats left. I only overheard them mention one of the performances as having none left when someone asked (one of the Fridays--I believe the 8th?)

I believe that was me.
I was able to get tickets for the 7th instead, though.
Got mine at the box office today, and everyone (3 other people) who showed up while I was there bought tickets for this special, too.
I think they said this Friday night's was sold out of the discounted seats when the girl after me asked? I bought for Saturday night.

Ha, I was trying to listen in inconspicuously to what performances were left so that I didn't needlessly waste time when I got up there. Glad to hear that you were able to find a different performance!!

Just got my tickets! Looks like they are selling out of these tickets - at least for the weekends anyway. I snatched the last two for the Saturday I'm going to. Was going to buy them last night but saw that there were plenty of seats left so got lazy and decided to buy them today instead, so now I am going to be sitting at the last seat at the extreme side, and my friend will be on the other side at the extreme side as well... This will teach me to act right away next time. Anyone have any experience with the extreme sides in the mezzanine? Wonder how obstructed the view will be. Still excited though!

Was anyone still able to buy tickets this evening? I forgot to buy yesterday and now I've searched for literally every performance and cannot find even one seat for this price. Did I miss it? Or am I missing a code or something that I wasn't aware of? I hope I didn't miss it!
The offer was slated to end at 9 am this morning.
