Without the context of the book, it's all just grand karaoke. 

Guess I'm in the minority, but I loved the Cher Show's performance. 

It's camp. 

THE CHER SHOW should have done something else. It was a good performance, but they had better options.

That number in the context of the show is breathtaking. But not sure it was the right number to put people in the seats.

There was NOTHING good about that performance .  NOTHING .
