Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

somethingwicked just beat me to Julie Andrews. Also agree with Marin Mazzie and Raúl Esparza, although I'm sure there are a ton of performers that I'm just not aware are Tonyless.

Yeah, Julie Andrews and Raul Esparza are definitely up there.

Even though I agree with them, I'm surprised that people listed names like Raúl Esparza, Julia Murney and Kelli O'Hara before mentioning Julie Andrews.

Oh, and Esparza? '07 is so his year.

Wow, I wasn't aware she doesn't have any Tonys! I just assumed she did as well. Please tell me she has an Oscar or even a Grammy for a recording she did.

The producers gave Stritch that Tony for AT LIBERTY -- as if they could have pried it out of her cold gnarled fingers once she got it in her clutches.
