With ticket sales post Sara at Into the Woods being down, do you think they might offer a discount for any point in the reminder of the run to get butts in the seats for the rest of the run?

KIMNYCC for Orchestra seats from $89 and Mezzanine seats $79. Offer is valid for performances through November 19."
Yeah...I'm gonna wait for TDF or rush. The show looks painfully undersold and they're gonna have to do a little better than $10 off face value to attract people to an unknown new property...
THE BOYS IN THE BAND was worth $89 in the rear mezzanine...but this is NOT that.

I have a question about the TKTS app. Is the price listed for each show the price you pay, or is the discount on top of that? For example, tonight's Death of a Salesman is showing $77-92 and 50% off. Are the tickets at the booth $77-92 or $39-46? I'm trying to see if the best prices (non-lottery or rush) are available through the TKTS booth or just buying the cheapest available balcony tickets online.

$77-92 is 50% off the full price ticket : $154 - $184

I am helping people who want a discount, even a small one. Feel free not to use it or complain about it in the future tho. Thanks so much.
I don’t think they were complaining about you sharing it…rather, the fact that it’s overpriced to begin with and $10 barely covers fees. They (not you) will have to make a better discount.

All of this. Especially when the fees are $15-17 for non-premium tickets and the cheapest seats are already $89

Where does one see that a show is undersold or how are you judging this? I am coming in November and all the shows listed on broadway.com only have a couple remaining LISTED seats for KA and the only seats available on ticketmaster are resale tickets for $293.
Not being in the theatre community it's tough for us outsiders to know when a show will have plenty of seats left or if should scoop up our tickets in advance.

Broadway, com is a scalping site where you will almost always pay exhorbitant markups and "service fees": Always go to the show's official website and click through on the link to purchase tickets -- you'll be taken to Telecharge, Ticketmaster or SeatGeek based on the theatre. But NEVER buy from Broadway.com
Don't ever use Broadway.com, they are scam artists who jack up prices for people.
Telecharge is where it's sold and you'll be able to find how bad it's selling there. Also, theatermania.com is good for a list of shows in NY and if they are offering any discounts. Good luck.

First off, do not use broadway.com, under any circumstance. Telecharge is the official seller for Kimberly Akimbo and most other Broadway shows, and there's a discount available on Telecharge Offers if you use code KIMNYCC.
Here are the official sellers for other shows, and you should only go through them to buy tickets. TodayTix has decent prices and discounts, as well, but I rarely use them because you can't pick your seats for most shows, it's difficult to resell a ticket if you need to, and their customer service is lacking:
Ticketmaster: Hamilton, Wicked, Six, MJ, The Lion King, Aladdin, Beetlejuice
SeatGeek: Funny Girl, Into the Woods, The Book of Mormon, Hadestown, Moulin Rouge!
