Not being in the theatre community it's tough for us outsiders to know when a show will have plenty of seats left or if should scoop up our tickets in advance."
You need to go to Telecharge.com or Telechargeoffers.com (with a discount card. Broadway.com gouges, and the fact that Ticketmaster has resale seats does not mean that there are not perfectly good regularly (or slightly discounted) tickets available, without the (additional) gouging, (depending on your perspective).

Unless you’re looking to book far in advance, Hadestown tickets for upcoming performances can be had for very reasonable prices. Like $69-89 for great seats. Lots of dynamic pricing going on.

So strange to receive a printed ad for KA without a discount code. I wonder if someone forgot to proofread the ad before it went to print. They are even advertising on FB but with no code. Very odd.

I thought the same thing when I got the mail yesterday! So strange.
Code good through January 23, 2023. Blackout dates are Thanksgiving week(Nov 25-27) and most of December(Dec. 4 - Jan. 1).
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I noticed it with Piano Lesson. I also kept getting offers on TodayTix for "front row $52 seats" to Straight Line Crazy and then there would never be any available for any dates.
That happened to me today with an email I received from Telecharge for Take Me Out. A lot of details but no discount code. It would only let me buy regular or premium-priced tix.

Someone had previously posted LEOSAVE01 for Leopoldstadt and it appears to be good through 11/27.
Taffy had shared KIMNYCC for Kimberly Akimbo a couple of posts back. Telechargeoffers.com says that unlocks select $59 mezz or $89 orch seats for previews from 10/12-11/19. Seems to do a bit of a discount on some higher price points as well, but not much.
20JULIET as a voucher code will take an extra $20 off a pick-your-seats & Juliet order on TodayTix. Between that and the fact that tickets are already some $40 cheaper on TT versus buying from the show's site, you can save a decent amount on a pair.

Thanks everyone, maybe not huge savings, maybe not terrific seats....but I'll take it!
Thanks for your help, my veterans day weekend is booked!
