Yeah the box office said people r quickly getting sick in the cast. I exchanged my tickets for August 11 to be safe. They also asked if I wanted to sit anywhere else and made it happen with ease. Everyone was very dissapointed, even a couple arrived from PA. What can you do I guess. I wish they would let everyone know sooner than an hour before the show
From my experience being canceled yesterday, I filled out the form link to exchange the minute it was texted to me and they got back to me with new tickets in about 3 hours. I will say that, since an extension isn’t looking likely, fill it out and act quickly and you’ll be able to get seats for another show.

As per the staff yesterday they said they are extending one more time then moving it to Broadway but who knows
Really kind of bummed about how they’ve handled the weekend cancellations. Obviously, it’s out of their hands; but my husband filled out the form they sent right away, and not only have we not heard back with a response, they haven’t answered calls to their box office or admin offices. Our friends who were seeing it with us are only here through the end of the week and are willing to swap out one of the shows they already booked to see Cats instead, but now I’m worried that won’t even be possible.

According to the PAC website, they are closed on Mondays, so hopefully you'll hear back from them tomorrow.

That's odd that they haven't answered yet. I was supposed to go last Thursday and they sent me new tickets within an hour of my sending them the form on Wednesday afternoon. I had exchanged into this past Saturday's matinee, which also got cancelled, but I happened to be standing in the lobby when I was notified so I was able to have the box office book me into yet another performance right away. As the poster above me said, they're usually closed Mondays so hopefully you hear back tomorrow.
Has anyone had any experience with the wheelchair seats? It says that no seat is present, but I know for a fact there are removable seats there, and if you put one in a cart, it says it's a regular seat. At this point, they really should be up for grabs.
Glad my husband called today. There were apparently some folks who filled out the emailed form over the weekend who fell through the cracks. We were able to be rescheduled for 8/10, and (gratefully) we were upgraded a bit.
It sounds like the possibility of an extension is still up in the air. They weren’t able to promise that there would be available dates past the 11th, so we had to refund one of our seats.
I find it fascinating that they canceled both shows saturday and sunday afternoon, somehow managed to perform sunday night when there were many theatre luminaries in the house, and then started canceling shows again.

So is the extension not happening now? It closes in under 3 weeks.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Yeah, something is a bit....off."
Some performances were canceled for put-ins as they had to make some understudy tracks work that were not originally supposed to be understudy tracks. And then another set of cast members get sick and they have to do it again. They don't have a strong understudy bench.
Looks like there's only 3 offstage covers? That's REALLY over-optimistic for Covid times + a show this physically demanding + some performers who aren't of the musical theatre world and 8x a week is a beast.
Again, if this transfers to Bway, they'll need more swings. I'd assume at this point it's not extending either and will stick to their Aug 12 closing date.

That was my thought as well. Yes, it’s off-Broadway, but this is a big and demanding show. Canceling so many performances is not a great way to enter its final weeks- it feels like it’s sapping the energy out from what had been a hot ticket production.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
At this point, I really don’t see a transfer to Broadway in the cards. The only house they could theoretically transfer to is Circle in the Square, and I doubt they want to wait until R+J closes to do so. Any momentum they’ve built will likely be dissipated by January/February, and as Kad noted, it already feels like interest is waning. It reminds me of Oratorio for Living Things a couple seasons ago: rave reviews, excellent word-of-mouth, rumblings of a transfer, needs a unique playing space; but cancelled performances late in the run and cast availability post-closing hinders future plans.
They need to strike while the iron is hot. And unless they already have another non-Broadway space lined up to accommodate their needs directly after the PAC run, I think the road ends at PAC.
