Posted: 9/23/09 at 10:48amTo prove just how gay I am, I had a dream last night that I went to go see Sandra Bernhard in GYPSY. I woke up kind of laughing but than though, "Man, I bet she could do it!". Anyone else think she might be great?

But I think I COULD see her as Mame. Or Vera Charles at the very least.

Posted: 9/23/09 at 4:01pmPatti LuPone isn't a particularly awesome actress either, but she powered through the show like a stick of dynamite. I'm not sure how elastic Bernhard's voice is, but if she has the control and ability to not get tired out then I could see her at least doing a decent job of it.

Oh, Lord. I wrote that right when I woke up and was still thinking she might be good from my dream. I still don't think it'd be "horrible".
