Yes, a Google search for "Denzel Washington" brings up articles from basically every major entertainment news source about this.
I thought I’d treat myself with some Christmas cash and buy ONE MORE ticket for this run but noticed the prices of the seats I had gotten already have literally doubled from when they went onsale. Then I noticed Audience Rewards had this show up for something like 16,000 points so I thought what the hell and got an amazing seat that normally costs over $700 now. This is insane.

That’s awesome to hear. Do you mind sharing where the seats exactly are? I might have to look into this as I am going on in May.
Front mezz. They have orchestra also but they’re farther back and much more to the side, at least the week si was looking at.

I used Audience Rewards too - $75ish and 9,500 points for an aisle orchestra seat the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Seat next to me is $520. Audience Reward seems like a bargain.

It looks like they've put the first 2 rows of the orchestra on sale for all performances.

Sheesh that was an uncomfortable read. If he doesn’t want to promote or interview send in Jake I guess.

I actually disagree. I loved the piece. Its a better listen on the podcast then the written article. The sound of their conversation is very disjointed. And it seems like the interviewer was just bouncing around. This is not a full conversation that is lite and lovely.
I found Denzel to be quite open and honest. These are big subjects and he is very vulnerable here.

I’ll have to listen to it. Text doesn’t discern tone. Good reminder.

Today I saw an interview that said they're setting this in 2028... interested to see what that means!

Just came here to say the same thing. Another modern interpretation? Denzel talked about figuring out when to have a cellphone. My thought? Never.

Am I the only one who kind of loathes this key art? It looks like a promo image from Denzel in Macbeth photoshopped with a promo Jake shot. I realize they’re the reason for this revival, but Lordy Lord let’s get some better graphic design. On a different note, that’s how I feel about LCT since James McMullan seemingly retired. The Floyd Collins key art is painfully basic and could’ve been so much prettier.
