Today: anxious. Though I’m seeing the show Monday night, there’s an anxiousness to read reports of the physical production over the performances. I’m expecting all the obvious about Beanie so not expecting some electrifying revelation. Audio will surface so those I’ll take a listen. Curious if their Instagram will livestream the curtain call as some shows have done - or even the Overture.

Wow."
58 years. Has a show took that long between a first production and a revival?"
Took 49 years for BYE BYE BIRDIE. Original Broadway production was in 1960 and it’s very first Broadway revival was in 2009."
I did some research and apparently SOUTH PACIFIC beats FUNNY GIRL by 1 year.
1949 was the first production, first revival was 2008. We had any revivals prior this one?
There's a production at City Center on IBDB from May 4 to May 15, but can this be a revival? LOL
Thanks for that. Maybe it is the way it photograph's. There are other pictures on twitter that make it look like a projection. Especially the ones taken from the mezz.

Never once was it even suggested the Overture was being cut. Even Jordan Roth posted on Instagram, video clips of the scrim/curtain with the Overture at their first tech rehearsal.

Ramin is perfection but the other star (so far) is Jane Lynch. Dear God, she’s brilliant."
I’m waiting outside the August Wilson right now (I just saw SIX) and dying for more reports! I would love to meet you in person if possible too after the show … I’m wearing a winter coat and a YES hat. Keep your eye out if you can!
