I’m waiting outside the August Wilson right now (I just saw SIX)and dying for more reports! I would love to meet you in person if possible too after the show … I’m wearing a winter coat and a YES hat. Keep your eye out if you can!"
I’m also waiting by the theatre right now (I just saw the matinee of Phantom). I’m wearing pants and a NO bag. Cash me outside!
Creepy AF.

I am in a pedicab in front of the theatre if you need a ride after the show! I am wearing shoes and socks.
Jesus, it's a person who wants to make a human connection about something they are excited about. Why be so mean?

Yes you are.
Those of you who are there tonight, would love to hear some advice on where you think the best seats are for this production based on the sets/blocking. Do you think I’d miss too much from one of the “partial view” seats in the front row? Sat there for Mean Girls and thought the view was actually amazing (the show not so much..) However, MG was a pretty simplistic staging (LED screen notwithstanding) and most of the action took place center stage, so idk.

Great to see these first reports!
How many pieces in the orchestra? And how were the musical arrangements?

Hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but Beanie’s singing totally flat all night, and couldn’t reach any of the high notes. It was a mess.

Do you, though?
Did you two meet?

Sonia Friedman and Michael Mayer pre-show speech
So happy to hear the (mostly) glowing reports!
Did not even think of this until now, is there no lottery/rush being offered? Or SRO? (Apologies, can’t seem to remember if all shows have cut that offering due to the Covid policies in place or not.)

Yeah I do, and I’m a well versed NYC performer. You guys are probably living in your parents basements. A bunch of losers. That sit on this message board all day.

I think K-MO hit the nail right on the head. You definitely seem like someone who takes great enjoyment in bubble-bursting.

I think I was right.
Anyway.
Looking forward to hearing more reviews and how the show develops in previews.

If you are "a well versed NYC performer, you wouldn't have to ask, "Im looking for Male/Female Duet suggestions for a Tenor and a Soprano. I would prefer comedic, but it doest have to be. Give me your ideas... Thanks!" You think you are special and **** fruit cocktail; nope it's the same old crap.
Was hoping this was a thread about the show and reviews from people who have seen it instead of posters arguing about what a scrim is etc etc. Can people just post their thoughts and reviews of the show???? Thats why we come here
Can anyone who has seen it explain the connection to the unflattering poster art?
Everything looks like a mess. Anyone want my ticket for Tuesday ? I paid $50
