Has the show been selling out? I still see it on TKTS most nights. The Jacobs is equipped for standing room.

Apparently the rush seats are EXTREMELY partial view. I'd just spend a little bit more money and buy a full view seat in the mezz for this one.

Agreed. It was rough. Could only see about 1/3 of the stage. Missed A LOT. 
2nd in line Sunday, 4th of November at 10am. Orch G 16 & 18.

If here’s something I’ve learned from rush is to never grab right seats LOL

Again, rushed for the show at November 1 matinee and got partial view seats for the right orchestra (4th seat before the last one in the row) and the only real scene I missed was the light glow that the ill aunt sees and something else.

I thought was a really good seat and didn’t miss much.

Again, people really disliked their right seats for TKAM but at left it was good.

But yes, if u great last seats of the row even in left side of orchestra will be bad

I rushed a recent Wed. matinee, was 4th in line (arrived at 8:05 am), and got a pretty decent seat, orch M 17. It was marked partial view, but it looked full view to me. And it was close enough to see facial expressions. Glad I got left side, as much happens toward right side of stage.

Just to add my 2 cents - it's interesting to hear many people prefer house left, while I'm very thankful to have had house right when I saw it. While you miss the staircase, that isn't much compared to what house left may miss as there's the doorway, kitchen sink/window, and Maggie Faraway parked in your direct line of site for all of Act 1.

The box office also offers semi-confirms my theory on this, as partial view seats in the first few rows house left are only $59, as where they're $79 for the same seats on house right.

Would it be safer to rush on a Saturday or a Sunday? Seems like folks don't line up at the crack of dawn for this one.

I rushed Saturday, 11/10, arrived at 7 and was first in line.  Next person arrived at 8.  A few more trickled in between 8 and 9 with the majority arriving between 9 and 10.  By the time the box office opened I would estimate 25-30 people in line.  I got Orch G 16 & 18.  Yes, you do miss the staircase, a bit of the action on the right and you also miss the full view of this gorgeous set.  Overall, I did not feel this took away from the intensity of the play and for the price was very happy I was able to see it.

In my opinion if you took one look at the stage and then closed your eyes for the whole show you wouldn't really miss anything. What more do people want this set is extremely accommodating to eyelines

I can't speak to the view from the partial view rush seats (I had an aisle seat on the house left side of the orchestra through Audience Rewards), but after seeing the show I think I would rather sit house left if I had a partial view seat. I would definitely want to see the staircase and would want a clear view of that side of the stage during the final scene in particular. (There's also a doorway that I assume isn't visible from the very far side seats of house right.)

Rushed this yesterday at 3pm and had no problem getting a ticket. The seat was the furthest seat Orchestra Left in Row B. While some of the action was blocked by Aunt Maggie Far Away and other things on the corner of the stage. I also had couldn’t see the sink area of the kitchen but overall, it didn’t take away from the experience and it was great to see those performances from up close for only $40

I rushed on Sat 11/17. I was the first one there at 8:15am, and then it seemed like everyone else showed up in the next hour. 20-30 total in line. I got Row A front row, and there was a chair on stage blocking much of my view in the first and third acts. It was annoying, but I couldn't beat the price and seeing the action so close up. It's an incredible play.

Dmrockon, were you sat in A2 or A4? I’ve seen they’ve added them to Telecharge for $89 and was thinking of upgrading to A2 for only $30 more than what I paid for rear mezz. I know the chair will block some, but is it worth it to be close to the action? I’d defitnley prefer to be close and maybe miss some action.

Definitely upgrade! I was in A2, and my friend was in A4. I think A2 has less blockage from the chair on stage, and it is surreal to see it from so close up. Worth the $30! I'll definitely be coming back to see the show again.

I have rushed twice and I’ve sat on both the left and right side. A lot of people have said they like the left side better but I honestly disagree. I liked the right side better I thought you didn’t miss as much. On the left side you miss the action that is going on by the sink and radio and everything going on over there but get to see the whole staircase. On the right the only thing you don’t get to see completely is the staircase and that’s not that important. I think the right is better and more important action happens on the right as well. Also if you are alone or see open spots you can always move down or closer to center, that’s what I did.

Does anybody know if they sell standing room tickets even when the show isnt sold out? Id honestly much rather stand for this show than be cramped in a tiny seat with no leg room for over three hours.

I highly doubt it, though what is the rule about choosing to stand in the area behind the Orchestra even if you have a ticketed-seat?

I rushed on Friday 1/18! Probably got to the line around 9:10-9:15 and was 8th in line. I was warned that the tickets were the far sides of the orchestra, though they weren't marked as partial view. We got seats M16 & M18, which were to the side, but we both we able to see everything on the stage! Such a great show!
