Fredi, speaking of bloopers (and other people being involved) I think Idina's told a story about how...I think you bumped into something (I'm being vague..she kind of was when telling it), but long story short...she laughed so hard that she...had an accident. LOL.
True story?

Posted: 11/25/05 at 11:12pmFredi---or anyone else on this posting---just wondered if you had a circle of friends that you depended on, who supported each other and who became a surrogate family similar to the group in Rent?

I cry when I listen to Tick, Tick...Boom! Specifically "Real Life" because I think that song is just the...seriously most amazing song.
I haven't read the USA today thing, but I am sure I would cry.

Hi Fredi..never got to see you in Rent (never been to Broadway) but think you are great on the OBCR.
Did your husband ever see you in Rent? And did you perform as Rafiki on broadway or with the touring company?
Stephanie J Block: I am!
Jim: Is anyone coming to that old thing?

you bet singingwendy - and they are still my chosen family to this day..
we've been together long before RENT and will be together long after.
They are artists like me and the greatest dream of my life is for us to all work on one of our films together (3 of us are writers...)
BwayGirl - I'm not sure what you're talking about....

Posted: 11/25/05 at 11:17pmIt's true. Every time I watch Broadway: The American Musical, it makes me so depressed when it gets to the RENT part. Seeing Jonathan in the diner. It hurts to think what he could have done if he were still here.

Is it more than a little pathetic that I just almost started crying reading that?

Mandi Moo - you betcha! The JoAnne coat -- no way i was leaving it!
Never worn it since though - INCREDIBLE fashion - i'm just afraid people would think I "couldn't let go" so it sits in my closet...
No - met hubby after RENT was over... he's never seen me onstage (outside of Karaoke which we both love)...
One things for sure - he loves me for me and not for any other reason... (he's actually kinda anti-showbiz.. the phony-ness bugs him)
OH - ps - HI TO ALL MOMS! And thanks for letting your kids hang out with me tonight. No pediphiles here to be certain. I have kids myself (as the Wagon threaders know) and I'm very careful about what is said on my thread and how....
We're honest - but PG on the Fredi threads... right gang?

Posted: 11/25/05 at 11:24pmFredi is it true that on the lion king tour you had your very own rafiki stick, and it was from Africa and blessed? What a great way to truly get into the spirit of the character.
