I've been searching for a funny duet for a my friend and I. I love songs that are funny and energetic. A group I saw last year performed "all for the best" from "Godspell" incredibly.
I want ant a funny male/male duet. I'm not good at finding anything, and I think people here can help me more knowledgable in theatre who know some good ones.. Using all for the best as a basis, any recommendations?
Better with a man, from A Gentleman's guide
If you were gay and Schadenfreude, from Avenue Q (one of the people who sang Schadenfreude was a woman in the Broadway production, but she was playing a man, so there's that. And in the London production it was entirely a male/male duet)
Into the Woods has Agony
With you on my arms, from La Cage Aux Folles
You and me (but mostly me) from The Book of Mormon
I'm sure there are a thousand more, but these are the only ones off the top of my head.
TOGETHER AGAIN (for the first time) - Young Frankenstein
The bro duet - Alexander Sage Oyen

Something Rotten has that great tap battle between Borle and d'Arcy James during "Bottom's Gonna Be on Top."
Avenue Q has a few of these - "If You Were Gay," "Fantasies Come True"
Shrek - "Travel Song"
You're Timeless to Me from Hairspray
Brush Up Your Shakespeare from Kiss Me Kate
Invocation and Instructions to the Audience from the Frogs
"Where Would You Be Without Me?" from ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT
"Everybody Ought to Have a Maid" from FORUM (written for 4 men, but you don't have to do all the choruses)
It would be fun to hear the "Therapy" song from "Tick, Tick..Boom" with two guys. Definitely energetic.
"I Know Him So Well" from Chess. Not intended for two men, but I've seen it done that way several times.
But, it's not funny. If you want funny, you might try "Bosom Buddies" from Mame (again, not written for two men)
Or, "The Beauty That Drives Men Mad" from Sugar.

"It Would Have been Wonderful" - A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC
"I Do Like You," a song cut from Forum for Pseudolus and Hysterium.
"Honest Man" from Bajour.
There's a song from See Rock City called "You are My..." and it's pretty funny and energetic. It does have vulgar language, however.
How about "Devil Take the Hindmost" (the Phantom and Raoul) from LOVE NEVER DIES? It's not meant to be funny, but it's dripping with testosterone and can be done in a humorous fashion.
Also, if one of you can do a serviceable imitation of a female, "Do You Love Me?" from FIDDLER may be good. I've seen that done as a joke, with the sexes switched, and it was hilarious.
