A wonderful show! May all the cast enjoy their last performance today! Good luck to them in all their future projects!
I saw this show when it was first in previews back at Second Stage, and knew right away it would be a huge hit.
It brought huge laughs to me on a very bleak day. I saw it again on Broadway two more times, and each time was as great as the first.
To quote a line that obviously no one has used yet...

I saw the show in NY (Spring '05) and LA (Summer '07). I loved that at one point or another, I've seen the whole original cast. It was a great show with fun music and hilarious characters. I'll miss it.
"JESUS! I knew you were Asian!"
I'm gonna miss this show so much.
Tonight will be the third time I'm seeing it.
How many of y'all will be there?! Look for me and say hi, I'll be the tall lanky kid with long brown hair and black/green glasses, chillin' with a little asian girl.
I'll never forget going to see the show, knowing absolutely nothing about it and having no expectation... and ending up on stage! For someone who loves broadway and has always dreamed of being on stage (yet absolutely no vocal talent) it was a dream come true!! We will miss you spelling bee!
Goodbye Spelling Bee! I loved the show when I saw it in Chicago. I wonder if there was ever all guys in the front row. What would happen with Marigold Coneybear and Barfee's mom?
Wow! So many big show have closed/announced closing in the past 2-3 weeks:
Drowsy Chaperone (Cry Baby)
Les Miserables (Cat on a Hot Tin roof)
The Grinch (Gypsy)
Rent (One can hope for Shrek or Catch Me If You Can)
Spelling Bee (title of show for 2009?)
Cyrano de Bergerac (In THe Heights)
Such a shame to see this go! I saw it twice when it came to Denver and I would have loved to see it on Broadway. Have a great show tonight!

So sad I wasn't able to see it again before it closed. We will miss you, Bee! And good luck to everyone tonight!
Got to see the original cast and loved it. Didn't see it when it was here in Denver though. Oh, and nice avatar Rose!
Got to be in the show, and it was wonderful.
This is a brilliant show that will truly be missed.
This show touched my heart and made me laugh. It was unique, fun, original, genuine, and real. The original cast was incredibly special, and replacement casts were quite good as well.
Spelling Bee, I will miss you on Broadway. I hope you have a long, long life in regional theatres and schools.
I loved Spelling Bee. I saw it twice and I was hoping to see it again with a friend who will be in NY soon. Not to be, unfortunately

Here's to one of the most original show in years!
Thanks for the compliment, uncageg -- but I decided to change it for a bit in remembrance. =D

my friend was in ny today and she was talking to me as she waited in the TKTS line and she said "Spelling Bee" was on the board for tickets for tonight's performance!! Is this weird, to have tickets left unsold at the closing night performance??
Saw it a few weeks ago and i thought it was fantastic. I'm really sad to see it go. The I Love You Song should be emotional tonight.
Bye Spelling Bee! I'm so sad to see it go. However, I'm extremely thankful that I got to see the OBC reunion in L.A, and I'll always have happy memories from that day. I'll always remember it as one of my best theater experiences ever. :)

My friends, you will be missed. Oh, I should say, you are missed, since the Chicago Bee closed some time ago.
Nevertheless, Broadway Bee, congrats on a great run.
Saw it once off-Broadway (where I had the pleasure of being one of the audience spellers - with Michael Musto, Ann Richards (!) and Kevin Bacon in the audience) and then twice on Broadway.
This show is a complete and total joy, and I am so glad it had such a nice, healthy life on Broadway.
And as a side note, does anyone know if Lisa Howard was still in the cast for the closing?
