Super excited To hear about this!
Updated On: 3/14/18 at 01:31 AMI’ll be there the last week of this month! So excited for this one.
Can anyone confirm that the marquee outside the theater is complete? I feel like there should be another wing on the other side...? Idk.
Wow! Time flies. Seems like just last week I got up to make coffee and do the ticket buying thing. Going in May. Just put in for the day off as I am doing it all on the same day.
So excited to see this! I'm seeing it Thursday the 26th & Friday the 27th of March, which is smack dab in the middle of previews, but still exciting!

I thought I would be doing the Friday 40 for years, instead I'll be at the first Broadway/US performance on Friday/Saturday night!

^Same. I thought this would be like Hamilton (I’m still playing that lottery in hopes of seeing it some day). I’m so excited for this weekend.

I'll be going this Friday/Saturday as well! I am so unbelievably excited, and also grateful I don't have to play the Friday Forty and use up all my lottery luck ??

Since ATG doesn't own the property on "other side," the answer is yes, it is complete.
So who on here will be at first preview tomorrow?

I am so excited to hear reviews! I have tickets in early April- absolutely can't wait!
I am looking forward to seeing the interior. We have a good idea of how the seats will be configured, but to see the final product will be nice.

Are you at the Lyric full time now? No more School of Rock? Would love to say howdy tomorrow night.

I'll be there tomorrow night. My tickets are in the center mezzanine, row L, second to last row. Interested to see what the view is like from that far back in this house. I know it's basically a barn.
I’m more excited to see what they’ve done to the theater. The set I’ve seen. The new Lyric is still a mystery.

Please let us know. When I see the show in June, my seat is in row M center dress circle, right behind where you're sitting tonight. If you're able to take a pic, I'd love to see the view from there.

Would I be able to follow what is going on if I never read the books nor seen the movies?

Hey CT2NYC! I will send you a picture next week when I sit up there if that helps!

I'm happy to know that someone else is wishing the same thing. I keep inadvertently bouncing up and down from sheer excitement
That would be great, thanks!

I haven't seen this play, but I have read all of the books and seen all of the movies multiple times. From the plot description of the play on Wikipedia, I expect you would be fairly lost for most of the time. These characters and stories were created in their own unique "canon", and there will be innumerable references that will mean nothing to you.

A user on instagram has a photo of the inside of the lyric. The auditorium. It really looks beautiful! They’ve done such a good job! You can look for it;
