This morning (6/11) there were about 15-20 people waiting outside the theater at 9:15 am. If they discontinued the in-person rush, I wonder what they were waiting for?

Either waiting for SRO or full-priced tix, or waiting to get their hearts broken.

Does anyone know when to arrive at the box office for the $99 day-of box tickets? Thank you so much!

They were mentioned earlier on this thread, but I'm not sure if the theater still offers them. I'm hoping they do! :)

The box seats were also being offered on Ticketmaster (at least for tonight’s show) at $198.

New Rush Policy:

- Sold at noon for matinees/5pm for evenings
- SRO sold right after that

I guess the theatre is trying to discourage people from camping out overnight? Im interested to see when people start lining up. The fact that the SRO tickets are sold right after is nice. Anyone know if you are limited to one SRO per person? Id assume yes based on the changes but i have no clue

I LOVE. The whole 1 for 1 policy. I’m hoping it will make it more difficult for Line Sitters

All of the shows that offer rush should do the one ticket per person. This way it avoids all of the "friends" who mysteriously show up at 5 minutes before. If the "friend' cannot get to the rush line at the same time, then pick another day that your schedules allow. If the "friends" do not show up at the same time send the late one to the back of the line. And the one that is already in line can join their "friend" at the back. Of course, for this to work correctly and fairly, people in line need to have a backbone and tell the person "not in front of me" and send them moving. I personally am tired of spending hours in a rush line and lose out, because someone joins their family/friend at 5 minutes before.
I don't see how changing from two tickets to one will make any difference with this problem. If anything, it may exacerbate it. When you could get two tickets, one person could wait for both themselves and their friend and the second person wouldn't need to worry about being there at all. With a one-per-person limit and everyone responsible for themselves, I can only see the cutting-to-be-with-friends problem worsen.
This is an interesting choice, to say the least.

If it was one ticket per person, in reality, that erases the cutting in line to join friends. You know that person, cutting, is buying a ticket. For this to work, people in line need to have a backbone. Lets just say, if I am ever in a rush line, that is one ticket per person, there is no way that you are cutting in front of me. What happens behind me, is up to that person in line.
Ah, that's a fair read.
I'm the same way, I definitely have no tolerance for that ****. But I unfortunately don't see the problem disappearing, anyway.
From the order of the messaging on the sign, logically, SRO must be one per person now as well.

has anyone won the lottery lately?
I won and saw the matinee on May 4 and haven't stopped dreaming of the show since.
I'd love to go again and my husband and I are playing daily but no luck .. I assume it's gotten a lot harder since the Tony's.

Has anyone tried to rush today? I wonder what time to arrive to try to rush the evening performance.
Also, has anybody attended the SRO? How is the experience? Were you able to see anything (I'm 5'0'' and therefore very worried hahaha)
I stopped by today (6/14) around 12:30pm and there is no one waiting outside for Rush right now. (I might just end up waiting since I’m WFH anyway... hahaha)
As confirmed by the woman in the box office, they start selling rush tix for an Evening performances at 5pm. They will sell Rush tix first and then sell Standing Room tix after those run out.

Are they setting aside specific seats now for Rush? Because I checked ticketmaster for tonight, and aside from resale tickets, nothing is available.
