This is leaned slightly forward, basically as far as you can without getting in the way of the person next to you.

I've also posted other pictures from the first row dress circle on my instagram (same username as here). At first I was a tiny bit disappointed the lottery seats were so far towards the end part of the first row, but honestly the view was pretty freaking great. It wasn't awesome having to be turned slightly to my left, but we could see absolutely everything (save for half of a person when they were sitting on the stairs in one early scene). The staging really is perfect, there really aren't any obstructed view seats. I spoke with some guys in the box right above where we were sat and they said even the box seats were pretty good, view-wise.

This is SUPER helpful. Thanks for sharing! I did go to your IG page to check out the pictures and I saw you had seats in DC Row H before. From what you could remember, do you think the seats all the way at the end of the aisle (towards the wall) would miss anything on the far left or right of stage? My seat is DC E14 and its sold as a prime seat and I'm just afraid its not going to be super great even at such a high price. I'm still holding on to DC Row B center seat for the same day but I would prefer not to drop an extra $200 if I'll have a good experience in my prime seat anyway.

I'm glad it helped! I really didn't get to see how it would be from that angle, but I don't think they were lying at all when they said there's not a bad seat in the house. Some less good than others, but even the ones I thought might be the worst were pretty freaking sweet.

I have row V in orchestra on the side. Paid $165 for a Saturday show in June. Am I better off with dress circle seats if I can find some ie first few rows or would these orchestra seats still be better?

Seems like people said further back in orchestra are still great seats for this show. Am pretty excited :)

Rear orchestra is a perfect view for this show, especially for all the effects. I’d definitely keep those seats

I'll be in NY for a week the end of April.  I wanted to see HP and signed up for the Ticketmaster Verified Fan but didn't get in, and there were no tickets available when I was planning my trip. Now suddenly there are tickets each day I'll be in town but I have no time in my schedule.  I bought premium tickets for October, but I'm seriously thinking of returning them and saying the hell with it.  I've had it with being jerked around for the privilege of handing over hundreds of dollars.

Amaklo, I hear you.  The whole ticket-buying process for this show is tiring.

On another note, there are seats available for Weds Apr 25 at multiple price ranges, including Orch J25 for $199 per part.  Dress Circle L123 on the same day is $165, so the J25 ticket looks like a good value.

Orch D5 is available on that day for $299 per part.

Just a quick question....I have a ticket for 4/18/18. If I find a better seat the day before..will I still be able to cancel the first ticket? Does anyone know how far in advance you have to cancel to get the full refund? Not sure if you an do it day before or day of show. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

It has to be done 14 Days in advance, Hunter, so you’re a little late, but it never hurts to open up the chat feature on Ticketmaster and just try.

At this point, you're sitting in the seat you already have booked...

I have 2 extra tickets for Thurs/Fri April 12/13. Orch Row R, not too far off the center aisle. I'll be attending with family so I'll have the tickets in person. Best offer. If the tickets don't get used, do I have any options for future use?

I just spoke to Ticketmaster and she was able to fully refund my ticket. She did tell me about the 14 day advance period, but said she was allowed to waive it. So no problems at all. Only a 4 minute wait to speak to someone too. I guess Sunday is the day to call fan support!

So I was lucky enough to be able to see the show again yesterday. I was in the city planning to see another show, but I was closely following stubhub prices for HP. The prices for stubhub seem to drop as it gets closer to the show. I bought a ticket for $125 and it was in balcony left box b. Idk if anyone has spoken about the views and set up of the box, so I’ll explain that a bit. Box A is the box closest to the stage, and Box C is the one farthest away. The box seats in the balcony are lower and closer to the stage than the actual balcony. My box was over row 10 of the orchestra. The box itself was very spacious and it’s beautifully done. So I actually was able to sit on both sides of the theater. They originally put me in the wrong side for part 1 act 1, and then when there were 5 people in that box and not enough seats, they realized I was in the wrong side, so I moved during intermission. I think if you get a choice between right and left, choose right. A lot more things happen on the stage left corner than stage right, so you’ll have to lean a bit more on the left. My correct side was the left, but it wasn’t that much leaning. If you don’t lean, you’ll see most of the stage still, you only need to lean to see the corner. The only thing you cannot see when leaving is the back corner, but nothing important happens. The main clock is blocked a bit by the other clocks in the top of the set, but you can see through that clock to see the main clock center stage. Also just to say other people leaning in the box doesn’t restrict your view. I was surprised by how well I could see facial expressions in the box. I sat in row x of he orchestra earlier, and the box I could see the faces much more clearly. Anyways, every time I put pictures on here they disappear, so I’ll post a link to a google drive folder with pictures from the box as well as row x of the orchestra for anyone who is curious.

here is the link. I included pictures from both the right and left boxes. I also included a picture of what the view is when your not leaning (picture 5263). That picture is from the right side https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mCYH-S5hsafBmvG1EvDQKkhgBEQKm149

edit: I forgot to mention since your on the side you do see some of the effects being done, which ruins some of the magic (mostly everything is still unseen), but it was cool to see how they did some things the second time around.

Thanks for this report! I was curious about the box seats, since they appear to be the best deals on StubHub.  Was this a mobile ticket, or did you pick up a hard ticket at the StubHub office? If you got a hard ticket, what was the face value of the seat, if you don't mind my asking?

I picked my ticket up at the stubhub center. I think whoever is selling them went to the box office and bought them. Also, the face value was $155 per part, so the total would have been $310. The ticket on stubhub was $125, but after fees it ended up being $155 (now I’m wondering if you buy it at the stubhub center do you avoid the fees?). But I considered it a very good deal since I got 50% off the ticket!!

I don't think there's any way to avoid the fees, but that's still an awesome deal!

I also was lucky to sit in a box seat this past Thursday/Friday. I strolled up to the box office on Wednesday around 11am and got Balcony box C for $70/part. There was some confusion on the ushers' part as to which side of the theater I was on but it eventually got sorted out. My seat was about even with the front mezzanine and I was impressed with being able to make out some facial expressions and it's 97% full view if you lean forward slightly. Plus there are no heads to block any view and with only four people per box, it feels very private. The box seats have moveable chairs so you can adjust to your liking. I saw on Stubhub today that they were being sold for $100-150 total for both parts and four of them were still available at the 2pm curtain time. Definitely a great deal for amazing seats! I'd grab any box seat again in a heartbeat. A couple of us noticed that there were four empty seats in orchestra A (!) for the first three acts and moved down for act 4 which was a huge treat to contrast the two different views. Both have things going for them and I thoroughly enjoyed both! This production has captured my heart!! OH and the people in Orchestra Row A side seats had won the lottery, so from various reports, it seems lottery could be either there or side Dress Circle Row A?

Interesting development. I called Ticketmaster last week to change my June 3 tickets to better seats on April 28 ... assuming that I’d still pick them up at the box office as planned. However, I just received them in the mail! I thought that wasn’t happening at all with Potter.

I just want to throw out there that it IS still possible to get tickets at the lower price points with a lot of patience and persistence - you never know when someone will return a ticket or the box office will make more seats available. Yesterday, I was on Ticketmaster as usual, searching for what tickets were available on various dates and scored two seats in Balcony F for $20/part for this Wednesday. I have been searching every day, sometimes multiple times a day since regular sale started and these are the first $20 seats I've seen pop up. But still, it's possible!

I noticed on the Friday Forty site the following small print: "You can only win the Lottery for each performance once."

Does this mean that if I win this Friday, I can't ever win again in the future?
