"That said, both Cerveris and JCM would run through their fan base rather quickly. "
"100% agree."
Still, short term, I'd think it would be a great and profitable idea for either or both of them to do it. I don't know how prepared JCM is, but I believe Cerveris could step into the role tomorrow. It would also be amusing with the Hurt Locker tie-in.

As far as Hedwig's future, Voldemort kills him at the end of the run.

When thinking of A List performers that could do the role justice and sell tickets, does Justin Timberlake come to mind for anybody else?

JT would be ideal! IMO, he has many of the same qualities as NPH. And you know who else (pop star-wise) would be rather intriguing...Gaga. If there were ever a modern-day descendent of Bowie, it's her.

He was on their wishlist I think. I personally don't think he'll do it. It's not the kind of role he'll take on. Lady Gaga would cost too much and has a tour coming up.
There was an article where they said they wanted people who could do the role justice.
PS-Rannells is great. I would hardly be heartbroken if he extended.

Well then maybe JT could do the film remake. I really think he'd be phenomenal.

Justin Timberlake may not feel comfortable with the role...

I would hate to see the movie remade. I love it so much as it is.

Remaking the film would be a horrible idea. Don't mess with perfection..

^ I agree but the tendency is to remake every single film possible, flawless ones especially.

I wonder if they'll do it with Neil, though. He's a big name and something tells me Timberlake might not want this role.

Where (aside from this thread) has anyone even mentioned the possibility of a movie, though?

If they were to remake the movie. Film the stage version...with NPH. But I agree. Don't remake the movie

Sorry if this has been discussed, but Telecharge is now selling tickets through the end of November!!! That's a good sign! It also looks on the official HEDWIG site that it reverts back to Neil's 7 show a week schedule after Rannell's run is over. Interesting!!!

It doesn't matter to what date a show is selling tickets. If they want to close, they can close at any time.

^^ I realize that, but they used to only be selling up through Andrew's final performance. Why bother adding more performances after he is set to leave just to go ahead and close it, when they simply could have just let it lie? My thought is they already have things lined up for when he does leave, but haven't announced yet to overshadow his first few performances.
