I think Beanie will leave before July 31st. There is so much going on.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
They simply wanted both actresses to start together. Jane wants to go back home to Southern California, so leaving a few weeks early is fine with her, I'm sure. Like all the other women we are talking about, these are professionals. Working with people you don't care for is part of the job sometimes.
The only drama is with the current Fanny and the producers. I doubt she shows up tomorrow.
Everyone saying that Jane doesn’t want to work with Lea is grasping at straws. It’s clear that there would be no reason, besides a “Glee reunion,” for Lea to perform the role with Jane and then have to perform with Tovah. They’re going to debut together. Why wouldn’t they? People are creating drama and it’s silly. Is Tovah supposed to debut a week later just because they want a Glee reunion? Of course not. The show will sell fine with Lea.
Beanie is engaged now so soon she herself will be a “Sadie.” I’m sure she’ll put her a career on pause for a moment after FUNNY GIRL and enjoy life for a bit.
Let’s not forget Lea was on pause when she was cancelled. She took time away from the public eye before making her big comeback. Beanie will be fine. She’s engaged, she’ll be sharing her wedding journey for the next year, fans will she her in a positive light and then in ~2 years she’ll make a movie or tv show and be welcomed back to Hollywood. Funny Girl will just be a little blip in her rear view window.

I wouldn't blame her if she didn't. Can you imagine the performance she'll squeak out?
I honestly wouldn't want to be anywhere around there tomorrow night. I mean, everyone will be able to feel that tension, stress, drama. It will absolutely affect her performance even more than it has in the past week. People reported she "seemed like she was over it and wanted to be anywhere but on the stage". So.....yeah.
Also if they ARE making some tweaks to the show for the new cast, Jane Lynch would have to start attending rehearsals for the "new" version of the show with Lea while doing the show at night with Julie, which would probably be exhausting.

All this pretzel-ing is fun, but I just think Jane Lynch cannot stand Lea Michele, and it is obvious if you follow this type of gossip that Lynch is not alone.

Where ya been, gurl. Lea and Tovah begin the same day. Jane’s Fanny when Beanie leaves is with Julie Benko. She isn’t doing a single performance with Lea. Jane bumped up her final day from its original Sept 25.

Methinks Ms. Lynch does not want to bother with Godzilla when she doesn't have to.

So Jane is supposed to learn new blocking/choreo just so she can perform with Lea for a week? This is absolutely ridiculous. This drama is being created for no reason. They’re likely going to change quite a bit of the show to fit Lea, and why would Jane go out of her way to learn basically a new show before she departs? Think realistically. She’s as done with the first version of this show as we all are.

Schmergo is clearly aware. They are explaining why they believe it makes sense for Jane to leave early rather than stay an extra week with Lea--because the latter would require rehearsing the changes with Lea while performing with Benko, all for just one week.
Here in SoCal, Jane recently has been appearing in TV ads for a popular local casino. I don't know, of course, when they were filmed. She stays busy, and I'm sure will continue to be in the public eye long beyond "Funny Girl". I wish her well.
Hopefully Lea Michele as Fanny Brice is a totally different interpretation than Lea Michele as Rachel Berry as Barbra Streisand as Fanny Brice and that the actress is working her butt off to prove to us that she understands the difference. Once again the responsibility falls squarely on the director to make that happen.
Yeah, I was saying that I don't think she'd want to go to the trouble of rehearsing a new version of the show when the overlap period would be so short and she was about to leave anyway.
Me thinks Ms. Lynch does not want to bother with Godzilla when she doesn't have to.
Thanks so much for your opinion that you have expressed three times now regarding Jane. It's not true and you are just spreading lies around to create drama. Not necessary, thank you.
On what planet would Jane Lynch leave the show three weeks early after publicly announcing her final date if NOT to avoid working with Lea Michele, who we ALL know was less than popular on the set of Glee? Im totally indifferent to Ms. Michele- incredible voice, horrible reputation, has every right to now prove herself to be a decent person and i wish her the best. But to not see Jane Lynch suddenly leaving early to NOT perform with her-- the Beanie hate has now morphed into refusing to see whats right in front of your face, even when its not about Beanie! Just hilarious.
And did I miss the vipers screaming about Lea only doing 7 shows a week? Can you imagine if Beanie had gotten that deal? People here would have passed out in gleeful rage.
Tremendous fun to watch all the "Why are you bending over backwards to excuse Beanie?" posters now bending over backwards trying to explain that Lynch's sudden decision to exit the show sooner than planned has nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with detesting Lea Michele.

tbh there are juicier things going on that are much more interesting than 7 vs 8 shows a week today. don't you worry; I'm sure there will be discussion about that once her run nears or begins.

Because it has nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with detesting Lea Michele. Simple.
