Someone on Reddit reported that Brady injured his leg over a week ago and only returned for his final performance with a modified staging.

 

Has anyone seen her in the show?

I wish Nick Rashad Burroughs had the opportunity to join the Broadway company as Toulouse Lautrec.  I saw him on tour in 2023 and he was excellent in the role.

Looks like they've shoehorned Bob's song "Purse First" into the pre-"Galop Infernal" section of "More More More!":

If anyone’s still wondering about David Harris’ exit from Old Friends in 2025, a joke I saw him write on someone else’s Instagram post makes it sound like he was fired. 

Wow, that's a major get. 

Moulin Rouge is going to be in the top 3 grosses those weeks. Wowowow. That’s fantastic for them.

It is, but I really don’t know what to make of this.

Obviously she can sing and has some acting experience, but it really seems like an odd choice of casting. I don’t think I’ve seen more of a “death rattle” level of stunt casting in quite some time. I’ll probably buy a ticket just to have it and toss it if she doesn’t pan out.

The fact that the history of this role includes Danny Burstein, Boy George, Tituss Burgess, Bob The Drag Queen, and now Megan Thee Stallion is actually kind of wild when you think about it.

Death rattle…? She’s quite literally one of the biggest rappers in the WORLD."

The inference of Death Rattle for the show. As in, they are closing and so they’re just getting whoever they can so they can fill their coffers before it ends.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was just the first of big names being slotted into the show for 6-8 week runs before it ends. 

I’d say it’s less “death rattle” and more “go out with a bang.” She is a MASSIVE get for any Broadway show, period, let alone one in the final months of a long run.

For anyone doubting Megan's singing voice, fast-forward to the 2:25 mark of "Beautiful Mistakes," in which she collaborated with Maroon 5. (As this is pop music, there is Auto-Tune of course, but still a very pleasant surprise.)

Actually, we don’t know if she can sing, but I love her so I’m intrigued!!
