My dream is Audrey in Little Shop... no matter what medium.
MACK & MABEL.
I think Megan is a bit too "all there" for Adelaide. The character of Adelaide needs a bit of dingbat to her. I would find it hard that Megan wouldn't be able to figure out "See note. See note??" in Adelaide's Lament.
I think she's cornered the market on "dingbat", and I mean that in the most respectful way. Love this, love her!

Megan would be a PERFECT Mabel. Her Time Heals Everything would be glorious. Plus more people need to know that show.
Jazz, Ham. I saw gentlemen prefer blondes at CC. It was great and she was fantabulous! It would be a huge hit on Broadway. Aside from Once it was the best musucal I saw last year!

After seeing tonight's episode of 'Smash' she'd be amazing as Louise in the 'Gypsy' remake should it happen.
I get the feeling she is never going to find the role that really does her justice.
This is random, but is it possible that she might be in the new musical opening in the summer, First Date? I was on the composers' website and she's featured in many of their videos.
This is total guess work, no proof at all if it's true. While the material looks... interesting, it would be great to have her back on Broadway!

Was she the first replacement for Chenowith in Wicked? If not who was? Did Hilty understudy first?
First understudy was Laura Bell Bundy, First replacement (and took over from LBB as understudy) was Jennifer Laura Thompson. Megan was her understudy and then took over!
I'd love to see her in the upcoming SideShow revival. She could do either sister I think.
Didn't I read about Megan doing a reading this summer of a revised version of Can-Can? Makes perfect sense for her to do a role that gets to be showy with some big singing and dancing. I noticed the same thing as HenryTDobson about her doing a lot of stuff for the First Date writers. Of course she sounds great on their songs so it's possible, though I'd assume she'd want to do something big and brassy (like a classic Marilyn-type or other Broadway diva role) and she comes across as pretty period to me. However, I'm sure she can rock anything!!

I think she could play Eliza Doolittle in the 'My Fair Lady' revival though I really want Laura Michelle Kelly to do it.
Apparently she was supposed to be in the tour of Little Shop as Audrey but Anthony Rapp ruined it all by being too old in comparison.
I was thinking the same thing about First Date. She did some early readings of the show, and Smash obviously was JUST canceled. Sounds like perfect timing to me.

If 'Beauty and the Beast' was ever revived, she should play Belle. Listen to this.

I was disappointed that she didn't get to take Gentlemen Prefer Blondes to Broadway. Given the reviews, I assumed a transfer would have been the next step. Shows what I know. :-p

Encores needs a strong producer to transfer their shows to Broadway. They don't have the money to do it themselves.
I wouldn't be surprised if "Blondes" did transfer at some point down the line. And THAT my friends is Hilty's Tony.
