this, and all the other pics from the film, make the show look SO boring and flat compared to the Bway show and even the original movie

looks good... although i am hoping thats not her you can't stop the beat costume

I am seriously doubting if she will be right for this role. I just am expecting to be annoyed.

i have to say...i'm a little skeptical about amanda bynes playing penny. hopefully i'll be proven wrong though, i'd like to see the movie do well...

It's actually "You Can't Stop the Beat", and I'm hoping THAT'S not Penny's finale' dress.

If that is her "You Can't Stop the Beat" costume, that kind of disappoints me. I wish she'd be a little more glammed up and over the top like Penny in the musical. It doesn't look like Penny goes through much of a transformation, based on the photos I've seen so far. But, I still think she'll win me over once I see the film! I hope some video footage starts popping up!

I actually think Amanda is one of the best casted characters in the movie. She's just the right amount of cute, annoying, ditzy, and funny for the part. She's a good side-kick. I bet many of you are surprised in July. Who am I hesitant of...Zac Efron. Or maybe I'm just picky about my Links! :)

If it is you cant stop the beat, there is not enough difference in the look of penny from her nerdy look. In YCSTB, Penny is supposed to be this bombshell where the audience goes "holy crap-she's hot." It's not a big enough change if this is the right scene, IMO.
