Man I would love to see Tituss, but I won't be back till May

I think it’s possible but they may need to do a few changes and I think that’s fine. What matters more is the comedic chemistry of the cast amongst each other.
i recall for Hedwig revival 9-10 years ago they had to alter a few things in the show after John Cameron Mitchell’s accident. I saw the show before and after the accident and both performances I saw were amazing!

It had already been announced to play through June 28."
They've had several "end dates" already. If this stunt casting keeps working, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't continue past June 28.
Is there still the assumption that Cole will return for Tonys voting season?

Several partial view balcony seats were released today for Tituss' limited run - check Telecharge if you don't mind that safety rail

it's believed that Cole will return for the final weeks assuming it will close with Cole. Unless they keep opting to stunt cast the role and keep it running.

Says who? They’ve clearly got a hit on their hands and already have some new people cast in roles coming down the pipeline (including a new Lincoln). Also, by the end of Tituss’ stint, this will be the longest-running play post pandemic on Broadway.
Even if grosses have softened slightly with Gilpin, it’s not to a point where I would reasonably assume they would close. Like SIX, it’s cheap to run and has a small enough cast that, even with a star salary, they will stay in the black for a long while
Side Note: Even though the CATS transfer is in the works, I certainly would KILL to have Sydney James Harcourt take on Mary’s Teacher.

Looking to see if anyone is able to/interested in swapping tickets with me for when Titus is in the show. I currently have 2 tickets for the Wednesday April 2nd performance at 7:30, Row D seats 12 and 14 in the balcony and just realized I have another engagement that is difficult to move that night. I am pretty flexible on the dates as long as it’s during Titus’ run. Feel free to send me a DM if interested!
BTW, I just checked telecharge and Tituss's entire 3 week run is sold out! Wow! Kudos! I'm not sure if producers are holding back tickets or if it truly is sold out (except for lottery/rush of course.)
There are certainly some house seats being held back, but 100% agree that Titus as Mary is the current hot ticket of the season. Love cheering on this show!
(I also noticed that April dates post-Titus are mostly $399.00 top price ---- so either an extension is imminent, Cole is coming back or one of the many major names who we've been dream casting as Mary will step in......)

You'll have an answer tomorrow morning.
Escola, Ricamora, and Scully will all return April 8.
I’m hoping the original cast’s return also lends credence to the rumor that HBO will be filming it.
Makes sense given June 16-18 is still blocked off.

Probably a silly question, what are the odds they'll still be in the show by end of May?

I'm guessing they'll be coming back till the show's set closing date in late June. Just an assumption, of course. We'll have to see if the show extends again, though.
All three are there until the current closing date. Let's see if it extends again and who else might get brought in.

'Oh Mary' Sets Cole Escola Return in April

I hate the leg space on that theater. But grabbed the last two $76 seats on the side of the mezz for that Thursday 5 pm on his first week.
I honestly don’t see this closing on June 28th. The show has recouped and then some, and now Cole and co. are returning to pick up awards that are rightly due to them.
With everyone who missed Cole and Conrad the first time now likely clamoring for their chance, the show may likely resume printing money and why close something that isn’t showing signs of diminishing returns?
it's already recouped, and is pretty barebones in terms of set and cast size - I'd be surprised if it didn't get extended for another "name" casting or two after Cole leaves - unless there's a particular show already knocking at the theaters door
