Jesus, all the dramatics over…checks notes - a single missed performance?
He’s got a week and half left and there’s no reason to jump to not expecting him “back for a single show”. Please take a hit of something and chill out.
maybe Jackie Sanders will get the chance to go on?

I was one of the people at the theater tonight who was told no refunds would be allowed. I asked how that could be since Tituss is above the title and was told he was not above the title. Moments before I had taken a photo of the marquee outside which featured Tituss's photo and the words "Tituss Burgess is Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh Mary!" The photo is on my phone now.
After leaving, I phoned Telecharge and was told the same, they could only refund if the star was above the title. I told them the star was above the title and that I'd just been standing in front of the theater and photographed it on the marquee. Telecharge then phoned the theater and were told the same, no refunds.
So, after that phone call I called my credit card and disputed the charge.
I'm absolutely fine with a performer calling out. But, the production has to honor refund requests when they are actively promoting a "name" performer starring in the show.
I've seen Oh Mary! previously, on and off Broadway. I bought a pricey ticket for tonight specifically to see Tituss.
I think my situation will be fine, I don't do credit card disputes often but they typically resolve them for the customer. But it's unfortunate that the theater, and Telecharge, are being so unreasonable.
I don’t want to burst your bubble but two things may stand in your way with the dispute:
1) Since you technically received the product/service you paid for, they may see that as a strike against your dispute. (I did this for A WONDERFUL WORLD when the show was interrupted multiple times at an early preview by busses of late patrons)
2) If you look at the cast listing in the original Playbill, all of the cast is technically below the title, so that could potentially be the excuse to justify their denial.
In the Playbill, none of the leads have been above the title, but in marketing/window cards/merch, etc, they all have been. Including signage and artwork on the marquee…
Let’s not forget that, to quote Tituss himself:
”I would not return to Broadway unless it was on my terms. Unless I was above the title. And here we are.”

I didn’t see her name in the website anymore.

If the name is above the title in promotional materials to sell tickets, but is below the title in the Playbill, I think the promotional materials would override the Playbill.
You don’t see the name in the Playbill until after you’ve paid for a ticket.
Saying “no refunds” while the name is above the title practically everywhere surely goes against the refund rule? Or is it truly, officially, dependent on the Playbill listing? If so, ridiculous..!

I didn't go to the show tonight. I went home after talking to the box office.

She's a vacation u/s. I don't think she was there for Betty's run, either. I'd have to imagine she'll be back when Cole returns as I'd assume Bianca & Tony (& possibly Hannah) will have scheduled vacations coming up. Jackie had her put-ins for both roles back in December.
Anyone know if Tituss is back today?

I guess you should have stayed because they did give out refunds. But, them being completely unorganized and not sending out an email or having anything in the lobby about him being out is unacceptable. If his voice is still shot, they need to notify people this afternoon. He is not used to this schedule obviously, but I hope he can recover and finish the rest of his very short run.

Happy to report that Telecharge did provide a refund today for last night’s unused ticket. Kudos to them for making it right.

I have tickets for the show at 5, so I guess I’ll know soon enough
I had a dream last night that Jackie Hoffman was a replacement Mary, and now I will not stop thinking about it.
Anyone know if Tituss is going on today?

No slips in the playbill. Didn’t see or hear anything. Seems like Tituss is in
Oh man, Tituss was beyond hilarious just now. Totally different than Betty and Cole and honest to God uproariously funny. I was sweating, I was laughing so hard and I’ve seen this thing 8 times already.

Yep he was amazing. I had tempered my expectations after reading some lukewarm reviews but he was great. Maybe it took him some time to grow into it.
So glad he is back in action. How did he sound in the Medley? on Tuesday he took less options up than I thought he was going to.

Yeah he didn’t really go hard on the singing, maybe one or two moments, but not flashy at all.
