So pleased for Angels in America (except for James McArdle ) I know she divided some people on here but I loved Susan Brown so I'm happy she was nominated, and I loved the score so pleased about that too.
I can't believe that they would snub Lee Pace and James McArdle for Michael Cera?? Both men from Angels in America were 10x better than Michael Cera... Michael Cera didn't even do much, he was just his awkward self. Not as impressive as Pace or McArdle!

I find it incredibly disrespectful. For many, this is an important moment in their careers and it seems unfair of McPhee to taint this moment by butchering the pronunciation of their name. It's one thing to misspeak or stumble over a word, it's another to repeatedly mispronounce the same word or look flabbergasted when a long name appears. None of the nominations were so surprising, she couldn't familiarize herself with some of the contenders.
Mean Girls getting costumes over The Band's Visit might have me the most upset, especially since it made the show have more nominations, but it is fine, what matters are the actual awards and The Band's Visit will be fine. Not Happy about Renee getting in over Kenita.
So nothing for MARGARITAVILLE. And FROZEN only got Best Musical?

I think the nominees were overall pretty good with very few surprises. Sad about Lee Pace and James McArdle; thrilled for Diana Rigg and all the My Fair Lady love. I also think Pill should have been nominated for Three Tall Women too.
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
The nominations seem largely as expected - though I’m somewhat surprised by the omissions of Allison Pill and Lee Pace. I’m mostly disappointed, however, for James McArdle. I really loved his performance in “Angels” - maybe my favorite of the production.
