I love the rehearsal shots Playbills. They are so classy, and show something so raw, yet polished, and wonderful about each show. I can always tell a lot from them...however, as someone said below, this seems to posed, and forced in my opinion.
To be honest, the best ones have been the Sally Field "Glass Menagerie", and "The Front Page".
"Ok ok ok ok ok ok ok. Have you guys heard about fidget spinners!?" ~Patti LuPone
I loved both of Three Tall Women’s (the rehearsal and the production shot) though I tend to like the production shots more. I don’t mind the TKAM one, but it does like a little staged.
I will normally be the biggest defender of Rudin’s Playbill covers, but there was nothing I could say about the horrible Waverly Gallery ones. Truly a misfire.

Does anyone know why they're all of a sudden changing their logo? I really do love the new GFX and artwork they've been putting out, but I don't understand why they're changing it all up so soon, it's literally been on Broadway for a month now. Are they going to swap out the old marquee with the new glittery cover also?

Shows revamp and rework their key art all the time. Just for fresh eyes, if nothing else. It does seem a little early/soon... I would have thought they would wait until after the new year, at least or right before the summer. Looks great, though. I actually liked the original artwork, as well; similar to the recent Lysistrata Jones artwork, it reminded me of classic Broadway illustrations for the show art.

I would guess the producers are concerned. This is more than a revamp, it's a total rebranding and doing it this early on is suspect.
There’s a new To Kill a Mockingbird one on Playbill. If I knew how to use technology, I would attach it, but unfortunately, I’m a dinosaur.
It’s a production shot and I think it’s really good. Features more of the cast and looks exciting and dynamic. Happy that’s the one audiences will have for the main run!
I like the Ruben and Clay's etc. etc. cover. It seems to capture the vibe of the show effectively.
Celebrity Autobiography is one of those 'wow, I hope they paid the intern for that quick photoshop job' covers.
I really like Choir Boy. It's very straightforward and proof that a cover with the actors' faces doesn't have to look bad as though someone was just tasked with making a series of headshots or random candids work for the cover.
I'm torn on The Prom. The glitter is cute but it reminds me of Head Over Heels. I'm not sure hiding the show's personality is the best strategy. Also for very little reason (I just checked, they don't look alike) the purple made me think of the cover for Baby, It's You.
