Papermill 20-21 Season Guessing Game

Looks like they released their yearly guessing game. The only one I'm 100% sure of is the one they already announced!

The picture on the bottom left is Aida. Eye-Eat-A= Aida

Any guesses on the other 3? Also, only 4? Will there be one more announced??

#1 ---- Waitress or Sweeney?

#2 ---- Secret Life Of Bees?

#4 ---- C to D-sharp are the opening notes of "So In Love" from Kiss Me Kate. But I'm sure those notes are in hundreds of other songs.
 

(Could also be a new show that we've never heard of before.)

It says five shows, but only four pictures. I'd assume since AIDA was already announced, they didn't include it in the guesses.

1 could also be Into the Woods.

For 2 I also thought Secret Life of Bees

There are five clues there actually. One is Aida (baby eating the letter A), but the other four are anyone's guess.

I think it would be more accurate to say there are four clues, but one of the clues is representing two shows.

Um yeah, so a total of five. 

My guesses are Baker Street, a new musical, Aida, Baby, and A Little Night Music.

Pointing to the eye show that came to mind based on that was potentially cry baby?

Where I saw the article it did say that Aida wasn’t included since it already announced

It’s been 15 years since they did ‘The Baker’s Wife’.

I assume the honey is ‘Secret Life of Bees’ & the baby is ‘Aida’

My first thought was ‘Almost Famous’ for the last one. CD?

I feel like the baby picture is a misdirect. You are thinking it's Aida but everyone already knows that it's coming but Aida is show 5 and the picture actually holds some other clue within it for one of the other shows. Everyone is just so clearly seeing that it also means Aida that they are missing whatever the other show is. What is it... ??? I have never been good at this game year after year.

They had their announcement earlier.

 

Clue: Oct. 7 - Nov. 1

The Sound of Music: Nov. 25 - Jan. 3

Aida: Feb. 4 - March 7

The Wanderer*: April 8 - May 9

Bruce: June 9 - July 4

 

* The Wanderer was part of their 2019-2020 season but got ppd due to the Coronavirus. Sister Act is moving into it's slot in June 2020.

Ah yes thanks saw the announcement, I’m just wondering how some of these tie to the clues from a few weeks back? 

I understand The Wanderer was not included in the clues because it was supposed to be part of this season. 

Does that mean another show for next season isn’t happening? Since there were reportedly 5 clues?

So from the clues...

The two musical notes always made me think of the theme to Jaws. The name they gave to the (often malfunctioning) mechanical shark in the original Jaws was Bruce... Was that the clue?!?!?! REALLY random and out there if so. But at the same time... Brilliant!

Clue - the frames maybe look like spaces on a clue board?!?

AIDA - was guessed correctly earlier in this thread. Kudos to that person for being correct! YAY!
