I love you all, but I don't want to read through all 10 of these pages. Did anyone notice the "Only in theaters" thing at the end? I'll cry if it doesn't come out on DVD. Even though I know it will eventually come out and it's just a marketing gimmick, it's just sad they have to resort to gimmicks to sell RENT.
but i'm not sure if it still works. The sound was a bit better, I think. I am so excited. Make sure you check the RENT blogs - Anthony posts quite often. He just wrote a really meaningful post about the stress of filming, and how he makes it through, etc. The blogs are at:
if you haven't seen them. Also on that site is an adorable video captured during filming! It helps the wait till November get a bit shorter! Updated On: 6/3/05 at 02:27 AM
I am now very much anticipating the second trailer.....instead of a teaser!
One with dialogue and other songs and more action....ahhh im sooo excited...i cant belive it looks so filmy and right...it looks right, i love the style which i have seen of it so far!
Are you serious? Every movie release commercial says "only in theatres __," becuse come that date, the only place you can see it in theatres. It's not a gimmick; relax.
Somebody had said something about Angel removing his/her wig in a church, I don't think it's a church, those look like folding chairs, maybe at Life Support? I could see a really dramatic moment at Life Support where Angel removes his/her wig. What do you guys think?
"All the while making faces like a baby platypus who forget to take some Beano before eating a chimichanga." FindingNamo in reference to Jessica Simpson's singing.
What the hell do you click on to view the trailor?
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
Anyone else catch a real Chicago (movie version) vibe when they first put the spotlights up when they were standing in the SOL line? I wonder if Columbus will incorporate that style into it...
And - Jesse L. Martin, if possible, sounds even better than he did when I saw the play in 1997. Just gives me chills...
