Patti and rob Mcclure must be going through a feud.

Somebody give this man another original show for him to headline please, preferably not a flop.
guess I will be seeing this show again...Rob is so wonderful in everything he does on stage..
While I think he's great for the role, I just can't see him playing John Cariani's older brother.
Great role for him! Maybe Brian will return to Hamilton at some point when Rory decides to leave!
I could see him IN Cariani's role....not as Nick though. (But I do love him!)
I will absolutely be revisiting Rotten!, by the way. I think McClure is brilliant and he will be brilliant in this part. Can't wait!!!

I see him more as Nigel than Nick as the characters are currently portrayed, but maybe he'll bring something new and different to the role! I thought he was great in Honeymoon in Vegas and Noises off. I may have to see this again.

I haven't seen the show and bought a ticket for Rotten in early June (D'arcy will have already left). Do you think I should try to exchange/wait to see it on tour, or that Borle and the remaining Broadway cast/ensemble will be worth seeing?

I think it's definitely still worth seeing. Not only for Borle, but Cariani and Oscar are hilarious too.
Its sure to come to Chicago on tour but I took my mom to see it in NY anyway. She loved it and Borle and Cariani were actually the two she mentioned as stand outs.
McClure is tremendously talented and cute. I've always seen him as a character Actor and not a Leading Man (he was not good in ENCORES: IRMA ) This role has enough "character" to use his talents but I fear he will be playing the wrong brother.
What does this mean for Brian D'arcy, though? Does he have his next project lined up? Is there any buzz around this?
I believe Brian is starring in the Superior Donuts tv series, so I imagine he starts pre-production and filming soon
Does this mean my Rob McClure as Mendel in the FALSETTOS revival dream has to die?
I'm glad he is waiting to replace him "when he leaves." Would be awkward before then... not to mention confusing.
Thanks for your input! ^

Oh I hadn't heard of that. Is he going to play Arthur (the owner of the shop)?

I'm sure Chris Fitzgerald would be up for it.
Good choice for replacement. Hell, McClure even made Chaplin worth seeing once (well, he was the best part of the show).

I typically find he's best part of any show he's in.
Anyone know the official date he's beginning?
