Any reports from tonight?

I heard it was riff city. More like a concert.

She was absolutely stunning. Beautifully acted and perfectly sung. Hearing her sing that score was such a blessing. Full standing ovation after She Used To Be Mine.

I didn't see the show, but my girlfriend got out of tonight's show and the first thing she texted me on how amazing Bean was
Every Tweet is glowing, complimenting the vocals and acting!
Beautifully acted and sung. Can’t wait to see how she grows even more into the role.
I see a Tweet saying she got a mid show standing ovation after “She Used to be Mine” !!

I may have listened to this just now... and holy crap. She is insane. Amazing.
Looking forward to seeing this with Shoshana and Jeremy next month, but curious how Eddie Jemison is as Ogie?
is there audio of her "She Used To Be Mine" somewhere?

Ohh he’s so great!! It was SUCH a treat to see him not only in the movie but now in the musical as the character he portrayed!! Definitely don’t miss him if you can see him in the role. He’s so great!!

saw the show this weekend for the first time. liked it more than i thought i would, and much of that goes to Shoshana Bean- even before getting into her vocal insanity, she was just pure charisma from the first scene. this strikes me as the sort of show that rises/falls entirely based on the actor playing that role, and she really nailed it. Her voice was in top form from the jump, but as expected she simply tore the roof off the place in She Used to Be Mine. Was one of those moments where an entire theater of people collectively gasps before bursting into applause.
Also pleasantly surprised by the NKOTB guy whose name I am forgetting, and yes Jamison did a good job (though its not like he would ever get this role absent his involvement in the film). I'd also give a shout out to Ben Thompson who played the horrible husband in a way that made him less than cartoonish.
The producers should book some airtime with Bean. I actually think she could sell some tickets.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this anywhere, but Shoshana has a concert in Oregon on 4/25. Not sure how many days she'll be out, but I'm guessing 4/24-4/26 is a safe bet.
Is she in for a limited run? Or a regular 6 month contract?

Eddie is amazing!!!!!!!!!! Love his Ogie. I know Ogie is supposed to be 32 but I’ll admit Eddie looks more like he is in his mid-40s.

She is contracted through May 12th.
Excuse me while I remain bald until the end of time.

I am not a Waitress fan, and have really minimal exposure to Sho Bean before seeing her in this a few weeks ago, but she really does an incredible job, especially with that song. Electric gut punch in the best way. Kudos to her.

The line was actually changed to Ogie being 42 instead of 32 because Eddie is actually like 55.
Bean’s interpretation of She Used to Be Mine is really unique in that I haven’t seen anyone playing Jenny as a confused but willed mother-to-be trying to figure out what exactly led her to the place where she is in the song. It adds a much needed layer for the character because you can see this is the point where the real change happens, which makes the strength she has after the pivotal event in the story not something newly found but the result of a journey of rediscovery of herself.

Oh ok! Makes sense. I can see him as 42 (he looks great for 55!) When he enters the stage I can't help but smile just seeing his energy. Very happy for him!
I saw her a few weeks ago, knew nothing of the show (I know!!!) and now I cannot stop thinking about it. She really is incredible.

Thanks for your interpretation of this, I totally agree!
