As jkcohen noted above, this can only be true if this show has generated literally tens of millions of dollars in memberships for the Shed. I doubt that, but if it's true, then good for them!
"

I still think the general public is going to get shut out and even if they don't the prices make sure it does.

But that is what I’m hearing that Bernadette plans to come in in the Broadway transfer (previews beginning of March, opening in April). The only thing though I had heard differently was the Booth they were looking at (which would mean Kimberly Akimbo would close in the first part of January).

I must say. It’s an immersive casting. Bernadette imo would make it top notch. I do wonder if Nathan Lane has anyway forward in the show or if David Hyde Pierce is the go to for this one
"

I'm a bit shocked to hear my pipe dream might come true. I kind of get the sense David Hyde Pierce would carry on as he is considered a 'name' right? But it would make sense to get Bernadette for a Broadway run to get a bigger name.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? Ticket prices are certainly helpful.

Do people at the $10 membership level get tickets at the member price, or is that reflective of the 15% discount that comes with the Builder level?

also, when I go to the Shed website I don’t  see the show coming up on the calendar

Tracie Bennett's tweets are so sweet and probably reflects what others might be feeling in the cast/how they managed to get such a great cast even if some of them will have very supporting roles.

"My 1st show was Merrily We Roll Along and now I’m in the last Sondheim ever. Bitter sweet for me & full circle. Just so extremely thrilled. I’ve cried for months. The team though #Overwhelmed. #Grateful

The membership support page shows 15% discounts starting at the $100 Shed Builder level of membership.  The $10 membership Shed Mover level only provides early ticket presale access.  https://theshed.org/support

Better off waiting until this comes to Broadway as the ticket prices would likely be cheaper.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

See I said that about Merrily We Roll Along and I ended up spending more on it for a worse seat.

If anybody ends up buying tickets today -- would you mind grabbing a screenshot afterward of the seating plan and what seats are what "Zone"? And the performance schedule...

Thank you!!!!!

Will be trying for the first preview. Also, did anyone upgrade their membership and are still getting messages about their older membership level? Hoping it’ll all work out. When I log in it has new level."

Yep, and I'm going to be extremally upset if I can't buy at the upgraded on sale time. I tried calling them yesterday to confirm, and the line told me the call center isn't open until Wednesday. The site is even telling me I've been a member since April 2024

Det95 try emailing the members email, also log in and check that your account does say you're the upgraded membership level at the same time.

I emailed them yesterday and haven't heard back yet. My account is showing the upgraded membership level, but I upgraded the same day the presale was announced and am still getting the old level in the emails.

I upgraded last night and my account reflects the new builder 1 membership. I’d be devastated if this didn’t work today.

I also upgraded last night and would be very upset if I don't get access to the presale today. Do we think that the presale will become available via a link or code sent via email? If that's the case, if those of us who upgraded more recently don't get that email, could someone who did get that email share the code or link with us? Or do we think there might be another way to access the presale?

I am hoping the way it will work is, it's the same link/page for everyone (i.e. the Shed Website), but when you log in you will be authenticated to access the presale based on your membership level. I suspect sharing a link will work if you have the right authentication (that's why I'm suggesting log in and check). But it won't work if you haven't truly upgraded. This is only my speculation and based on limited advice they gave me which is make sure you're logged in: no warranty given. If you're concerned just try to keep emailing them for an answer.

It would also be good to get a sense from the 12pm people if you think they have released every ticket at once or not.

No show releases every ticket -- there will be LOTS of seats held back for press, industry house seats, company holds, big money donors, etc.

I know but it is common in presales for a significant amount of tickets to be held back (as in so much so that sometimes it is annoying to be part of a presale because all the good seats get released at general release). So wondering if there is a sense of this.
