Somebody did. I think he has given better performance of that song, but I was impressed by how well they made the set work for Radio City. I definitely got a great look at the show.

And yet Comet has already gotten two Tonys.   So....?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Great choice by DEAR EVAN HANSEN!!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I meant in the "big" categories - score, book, actor, supporting actress, and musical.

I was rooting for Great Comet but super happy for the boys! They are so sweet

Steven Levenson won book. I am actually surprised, yet happy! I thought CFA would take that...is this the beginning of a DEH sweep?

I am so happy Steven won. I was starting to think David and Irene would, but glad it was Steven. Will Come From Away walk out with nothing?

Considering he's been on vocal rest for the past 2+ days, can't really blame him.

I always hate that some awards are given offscreen. I wish all the winners got a chance to give their speeches on TV.

I agree! I am living for playwrights getting some well deserved screen time.

It looks it. Really a shame. Was hoping to spread the love around on the televised awards after last year's single show party.

Totally agreed about the Best Play nominees!

I can't believe Groundhog Day chose this number of all the songs in the show to do at the Tonys... it's beautiful in the show's context, but they could've picked so many better standalone songs.
