Karl sounded great but that number would not get me to the show.
They just said DHP and Bette Midler coming up in a performance from Hello Dolly...hmmmm
They just announced Bette and the cast of Dolly coming up...
I think GD looked and sounded great!
Groundhog didn't help their box office with that...although nothing really wrong with it - but it doesn't in anyway show off the show's essence.

I don't think Kevin Kline is a fan of award shows. I know he hates doing press. (and frankly I thought Present Laughter was god awful.)
Andy Karl is adorable, but this number isn't going to help sell tickets.
That Groundhog song was a non-event. Worst Tony Awards selection since Matilda..
Of course, "Penny in My Pocket" is still to come...
I loved The Groundhog Day number, it was so simply done and Andy broke my heart.
Maybe Bette is introducing the number?

Best Orchestrations - Alex Lacamoire (Dear Evan Hansen)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I think they meant "Bette Midler, (comma) and the cast of Hello, Dolly!." But my heart is still hoping for the best.

I love "Seeing You" but really not a great choice to do for the Tonys. Groundhog Day has been really bad at choosing numbers to do on TV.
Roobbie - pretty sure they meant Bette is presenting and DHP is performing. I'd be surprised (very happily so) if Bette performs, obviously. They have stopped cutting to her (in the audience) even when Kevin made a joke about her so I wonder what's up with that.
That seemed like a poor choice for Groundhog Day. Andy sounded wonderful but I don't think that song would motivate people to buy tickets.
ORCHESTRATIONS?! Oh, come on!
As much as I adore DEH. Orchestrations should've been Comet.
Wait what? Malloy lost score, book, AND orchestrations? What the actual f...!
I love DEH, but Great Comet's orchestrations were amazing. Wrong choice.
I was more impressed with Andy Karl than Ben Platt. Love how emotional he was
Here it comes. Ugh. Yawn!!!!

None of the GHD songs by themselves are good for selling the show. Sadly.
Tommy Tune managed me to make me feel like this wouldn't be all that bad.
Too bad it is.
