LOVED that. Just incredible.


However, I will say that I've never particularly liked the end of the song. But I still loved the performance.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

and you get Passing Strange?

Daniel Breaker apparently has a great voice, but I still have no desire to see it.

I love it. but I dont think it captured the REAL ESSENCE of the musical!

1st- the lights was just a projections, it seems.

2nd - they cut the song-which removes some of the emotional intensity of the whole number.

Its a BRILLIANT musical, but better seen live in person!~imo.

I think it was a big mistake of the producers to put Passing strange's dreadful number so early in the show - my mother, my aunts, broadway lovers who don't love what's happening to broadway, have been alienated and will turn the channel. I knew what was coming, Stew's screeching, so could attend to my guests and block it out (he gives me headaches). I know I'm "mean" but I honestly hate that show more than any other EVER!

Passing Strange... I liked when everyone but Stew was singing. All the shouting..blah
