Nope. Jordan Donica and Andrew Burnap sounded powerful and flawless. Lorna was off key and flat, sadly.

Based on the number of sour notes we have heard over the years I would say Definitely not.

When the theatre move was announced was it for a set period of time or was it just for this year?
The soloists sing live, the ensemble is pre-recorded.

Okay maybe it’s just Lorna. SLIH sounds great.
I didn't like SLIH but this musical number is pretty great.
It felt to me like nerves got the best of Lorna. She was pitch perfect when I saw her.
How are they gonna do SLIH without Casey Garvin onstage? It’s offensive and disgusting.

The SLIH title number is was and will always be a BOP
Not my favorite song from SLIH but I think it's the best performance we've seen so far, and it was a lot of classic Broadway fun.
Sorry that was a bore. Nothing new or exciting. Not a great tune. Boring dancing. Yawn.
SLIH = THAT'S how you sell tickets.

SLIH is the only performance so far that would make me want to buy a ticket.
Tap tracks are amazing. SLIH was not together with that choreography,.
While we're on SLIH I urge every one to see the original film. I saw it again after I saw the SLIH musical and appreciated Marilyn Monroe's deadpan delivery so much more.
People are very thirsty on this thread tonight haha.
I'm not the biggest fan of the show, but that was the best "Tony number" so far tonight. Also, yes to J's costume/wig change mid-number.

I liked that performance. I missed the transition to commercial, which show is next?

she seemed flat through the entire number.
"
She WAS flat and not good and she was nominated over Soo??? Have no desire seeing this!

Lorna was definitely nerves. That was a bit rough vocally and just came off as cheesy to me. Most of the time these pop songs sound like kids bop versions unless the arrangements are interesting.

They did sound good. Andrew sounded strong. They were all selling it that is for sure. The montage had a brightness to it where the production was darker.
