Jon Chu confirmed the wedding is between Fiyero and Glinda but from what he said it sounded like Fiyero might jilt her.

My new thought is her new song “Girl in the bubble” happens later than I’d originally guessed-after For good. While she’s getting ready to tell Oz bout Elphie’s death. Putting on the crown, revisiting the attic where they sang defying gravity, etc
Ooooh, I love this teaser! I am not sold on Glinda's wedding dress, but it kinda makes sense she'd have something boring for a love that wasn't real? A plain, boring look on love? I love every other costume. I suspect one of those purplish pink things with a fullness to the back is her beautiful ballgown. I forgot Elphaba comes back for the monkeys and that's why they chased her at the end of the first film and later she corrals them to her side. This looks so visually amazing, it should be an amazing movie!

Between the theatre and film, I truly believe that Wicked likely has or will have the most worldwide cultural impact of any musical we know of so far."
I agree with all these brilliant observations.

I hate to say it but I kinda finally see the vision of why split it in half.
However, will the score suffer when the Act Two songs are the sole focus of the film? That’s the question.
Act 2 of Wicked is… rough, but it looks like they’ve expanded it substantially, which hopefully will help the more contrived and rushed parts finally cohere.

Not living for the Gelphie is real, they're lesbo for each other, Fiyero who? dialogue. I understand that in the book it was kind of briefly touched upon/implied they might have kissed (does it actually word for word say they do?). It's deep friendship, not deep unrequited love between the two witches

In the book they kissed when they part ways in the Emerald City.
She put her face against Glinda's and kissed her. “Hold out, if you can,” she murmured, and kissed her again. “Hold out, my sweet.”
So it's left very ambiguous and readers can fill in the subtext as they wish for just what type of kisses they were. They could be passionate, they could be romantic, or they could be platonic. Twenty some years ago when I read it I personally did not attribute that passage to mean they had any sort of romantic feelings for each other, but it doesn’t mean the text rules it out either.

I was trying to find where he said this and stumbled on some comments that made me think it may be a "dream/fantasy" sequence taken from Galinda's "secret" in part 1 that she and Fiyero will get married.
But we see Glinda in her wedding dress in the probably non-fantasy scene where she tells Elphie to show herself before the monkeys see her and she does.
Did yall just develop collective amnesia because theres a big ball scene in act two they can easily turn into a wedding reception...

It's pretty blink and you'll miss it on stage. The only memorable part of that scene is that glorious sea foam green gown which barely has any time on stage to be admired.

Exactly. It's not even a scene, it's basically just a transition tying "Wicked Witch of the East" to the scene where Elphaba confronts the Wizard.
Which Glinda and Fiyero are there for because of the Ball...
