Ahhhhh another highly entertaining b!tch and moan get your knickers-all-in-a-twist-about-absolutely-nothing thread courtesy of the good folks here at ol' B DOUBLE DUBYA. It's the gift the keeps on giving. Thank you!!

There is only *ONE* kind of Tony Voter: Tony voters in the pocket of Marc Platt.

Hey this Marc Platt seems like a powerful guy. I really don't want the Senate to pass the health care "reform" bill. Do you think Marc Platt can pull some strings and get that done? Kthx.
Stephen Sondheim, guilt-ridden after reading recent broadwayworld threads, admitted to being a talentless hack and that his success is totally due to his boyhood friendship with the son of influential Broadway composer and producer Oscar Hammerstein II.
"I don't really have much talent, you see, and it was very important to have the support of Mr. Hammerstein in the beginning. He was like a second father to me, and I gotta tell you, I used that for all it was worth. Even years into my 'career' the only reason Hal Prince would return my calls is because of his respect for Mr. Hammerstein."
Also interesting that our Troll in Chief TG11 did not respond when called out on his/her fabrication of Ben Platt being married. And TG11 has the nerve to rant about FAKE NEWS. No wonder he/she's a Trump supporter. TG11's just another moron to whom facts don't matter one bit.

Well, CLEARLY Lin-Manuel Miranda is writing a new musical that Ben will star in AND Marc will secretly produce. Because you can't be friends with someone in the industry without them doing any favors for you, right?

Don't be silly. Panda Express is obviously a front for a sex-trafficking business designed to give Ben some "release" after each show. I'm actually surprised theaterguy11 isn't there right now with a gun demanding the freedom of these Marc Platt-owned sex slaves.
Obviously Marc Platt either runs this Twitter account, or maybe even owns the whole million-dollar fast food chain!
Wait, a few hours ago one of the terminals at JFK had to be evacuated because the Panda Express caught on fire. It can't be a coincidence. It's as clear a warning to BWW as one could imagine. It's basically Marc Platt saying "I can cause JFK to be evacuated, Think what I can do to BWW. if you get on my bad side.".
Panda Express is irrelevant and unrelated to the story. Follow the money!!
It's clear that Marc Platt helped them fast track this mediocre musical to Broadway and then ran an a bullying PR campaign to instill in everyone's mind that Ben was giving the best performance ever. He then engineered Jake G and Jon Jon B to be taken out of consideration clearing the way for a bought Tony.
Oh you're so funny. Ben was predicted to win since he was Second Stage. I know you're just a troll, but he is super talented. His performance was better than Jon Jon & Jake's (seen both, loved both) and the Tony was rightfully his.
this is by far my favorite thread since that Patti-gate occurred after Nerds was cancelled. it's been pretty tame around here for the last year since most of our trolls departed!
"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."

Eegads. The power of Marc Platt strikes again. Et tu, LMM?
You know, you don't seem to have a profile on Playbill, so nice try on the whole "I've signed an autograph for you" thing. Glad you feel that you can go see Brigadoon now that "deranged Pasquale" is no longer involved.
Sincerely, someone who actually HAS worked on Broadway
I will give O.P. Credit for initiating one of the classic and funniest troll thread / parody threads in the history of this board.
If - on the off chance - my high praise is off base, the O.P. needs to seek immediate help to cure the voices he / she must hear in their head - or perhaps it is radio signals received through fillings. Whatever.
In the spirit of my first thought - Perhaps Theater Guy should explore nefarious contributions of Michael Greiff - who simultaneously directed an actual Marc Platt show (tellingly, one with two divas but no make lead to compete with Ben) - and DEH. I mean, clearly, the elaborate conspiracy was calibrated to make sure DEH won six Tonys - to make it less obvious Ben's was "bought" - yet make sure Greiff was snubbed for best director. The paycheck Greiff received for War Paint was his payoff for taking a fall in DEH.
Come to think of it - Platt was an even greater "evil genius" - opening a new musical he was the producer of - to compete directly with the show he was the "secret producer" of! Who would ever suspect!
