Haven't seen her in the role yet but kind of want to before she leaves. Was she in last night?
(I am *so sorry* to start another Wicked thread)

1/3 chance?
well her understudy is worlds better (adinah is still there right?) so you won't really be disappointed anyway.
Rue was out on Saturday and Jan N. went on. She was great. Better than Rue.
Adinah left the show a few weeks ago to head into rehearsels for "The Wedding Singer" (she's going to be in the Ensemble.)
You'd think she'd show up for her final few performances. How was her attendance record in "The Women"?
Next time the producers ought to think twice about stunt casting in a show that doesn't need it.
I wouldn't really say she was stunt casted. WICKED is the last show that needs stunt casting.
Rue is a fabulous actress - it's too bad she is stuck in a crappy waste of a role. She deserves better and she can do MUCH better.
i know i'm late, but i was there last night and she was in.
She's leaving Sunday, right?
If you're lucky, she'll be out and Jan will be in. Jan is worlds better in the role.
i still don't know how rue managed to screw this role up. She had such potential, she literally didn't have to act at all and would have been wonderful, but that "accent" ala a pubescent boy just trashed it

Did Rue not extend her contract or did the Wicked producers not ask her back??
Rue has missed a ton of performances in the past few months-- not sure why. I saw Rue in August and didn't care for her at all.
I saw Jan Neuberger a couple weeks ago and she was great!
i hope the ******* ***** never works on broadway again
(yes, i'm very bitter about her not being in tonight)
Sorry WAT. If it's any consulation, I loved her in Golden Girls, but seeing her in Wicked was disappointing.
And I don't think Madam Morrible is a waste of a role, I just think that she managed to make it worse for her than it had to be.
WAT, you know you weren't missing much. Cannot wait for Carol Kane!

You'd think she would have to be half dead to miss now when she's leaving Sunday.
*sighs* I tried twice to see her in it... both times, 3 months apart, she was out. Guess there's no big loss from what you guys are saying...

I dont think Morrible is a wasted role.... at least I didnt when I saw it with Carole. Its a shame Rue trashed this like it looks she did. She could have been fabulous.
Wait till Carol Kane gets here and bites the stage door folk, You'll wish Rue were back. And what happened to Liza?
Man, Rue M...ugh. I think she was great in Golden Girls, but that's as far. Sure it's fun to see her on stage, but I hate when people speak lines that are suppose to be sung.
