People on this board have such interesting avatars, but I don't recognize some of them. So let's clear up the confusion and share what exactly is pictured in our avatars!
Me: From top left and clockwise, Ariana Debose in A Bronx Tale, Autumn Hurlbert in A Taste of Things to Come, Phillipa Soo in Amelie, and Emma Stone in La La Land.
Mine's a shot of JCM in the Off-Broadway Hedwig. I saw the picture when I was 15 and remember being shocked and awed by it. The profile name's a reference to Harvey's Casa Valentina - a show of which I try to catch every regional production I can.
Mine is the picture I took of Elaine Paige at the curtain call closing night of Sunset Boulevard on Broadway.
Renée Elise Goldsberry performing "Satisfied." One of the greatest performances I've ever witnessed.
Mine's a photo of an actual street in Baltimore I snapped on a whim from the car. As you can probably tell, I'm a HUGE Sweeney Todd fan :)
My avatar is from the 2nd (still ill-fated) production of The First Wives Club in Chicago. It was my first Pre-Broadway tryout I saw, and ironically enough the first pre-Broadway tryout I saw that didn't go to Broadway. In the picture they're singing their first group number "I'm So Lucky" in which they all disclose their disaster marriages. Starring Carmen Cusack (pre-Tony nom.), Christine Sherrill (who needs to be on Broadway yesterday), and the legendary Faith Prince.
Rachel Weisz from Terence Davies' film The Deep Blue Sea (2012).
Mine is Mary Tyler Moore and the cat from the ill fated musical adaption of "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

Laura Bell Bundy singing So Much Better in Legally Blonde which is my guilty pleasure musical..

Every time I see yours I think it's Anne Hathaway!
Mine is from Hedwig and the Angry Inch - the origin of love.
Ken Fallin's Bette. Still waiting for a drawing of Donna Murphy....
@AC The Deep Blue Sea is 2011, but it's still fabulous.
Mine is from Annie Baker's John at the Signature Theatre, a play that I saw way too many times and still wish I saw more.
Mine is a shot of Annaleigh Ashford and I in San Francisco! Circa 2015, pre-Tony win.
Mine is an onstage pic at the Ambassador Theatre (Chicago). It was a very happy experience for me, to visit backstage.

For some reason I can't see mine to confirm, but if it is there and it is what I think it is, it is a photo of the house of the Oriental Theatre in Chicago (taken from the set of Newsies).
An empty house right before opening or during tech is one of my favorite times. Even though everything is calm, there is still a little buzz of energy in the air.
The cover of my album, which is a collection of original songs sung by various pop and Broadway singers.
Mine is the original portrayal of the character in my bww name:
Bjorn Bjelfvenstam as Henrik Egerman in Bergman's Smile of a Summer Night.

Bless you for trying to keep the memory alive of that show. My first pre-Broadway show I saw was Amazing Grace.
My avatar is Squigs' drawing of American Psycho. I saw the closing night of that show and I have been obsessed ever since.

I had the opportunity to see that production of First Wives Club as well. I went to school with one of Christine Sherrill's sons, so it was a little extra fun to see her (though I originally came for Cusack). I knew things weren't looking good when I showed up to the theatre with my cheap balcony seat and was moved to 10th row orchestra on the aisle (though, it was in the middle of a snow storm to be fair).
Here's to the Broadway tryouts that never moved (or did, but flopped spectacularly). My list also includes Wonderland (the Houston tryout), the last Chicago performance of Amazing Grace, and the first performance of Gotta Dance (though they still have hope).
Well, I'm just mortified! Mortified, I tell you! Ya'll have such cool avatars, full of meaning related to your favorite theater experiences.
My avatar is just a picture of a woman in a white fedora. I was writing a lyric to a 40s-style ballad titled "The Girl in the White Fedora" and I realized I wasn't entirely sure what a fedora looked like. My husband found that photo for me and it was handy when I joined here.
I think I'll go look for something a little more meaningful now... (And maybe something that doesn't confuse other posters into thinking I'm a woman.)
