I cried for Amy Winehouse. I was standing at the ATM with my mom when I checked Twitter and saw the news reports.
I know I'll cry for Britney Spears. To most people, she's just a trite pop star, but she taught me so much about self expression and about being okay with being myself.
Britney Spears is 33, so you (hopefully) have 50+ years to prepare yourself.
Nobody really famous I guess, but I cried for everybody on 9/11.
I shed a tear when I heard jon Lovitz died.
I don't think I've ever cried for a celebrity. Can't imagine I will. I've felt sadness, few a few minutes, but that's about it.
I shed a few tears in the past, but I don't think I can predict who I will cry for.
I remember really crying (not just shedding a tear) when Aaron Copland died. They played Appalachian Spring, and I cried through the whole thing.
I've choked up a few times since then: Bob Hope, Shirley Temple, Robin Williams (such s shock), Elizabeth Taylor, and most recently Luise Rainer (the last of the big Thalberg stars).
i cried the day the music died
Julie Andrews. I don't even want to think about that one.
Barbara Cook----her voice once evoked such memories and I will be sad.
I cried for Joan, it's the only time I've ever really been hit by a celebrity death. I think it was especially hard since she was so full of life and really inspiring to me!
I can't even think about Barbra, that'll be a ROUGH day.
Dakota Fanning.
Debbie Reynolds. Without fail, Debbie Reynolds.

You mean every time she dies you cry without fail?
Yes, because it is my hope she has 9 lives like a cat.

Good answer!
I sat a kind of shiva when Ella Fitzgerald died.
Was thinking about movies that busted me up. Only 2 come to mind immediately Schindlers and Band Played On. But I've cried over a bunch.
Steven Spielberg. Say what you want about him, but he made your childhood favorites. Some of his recent films I thought were very good as well.
I will sob a little when Julie Andrews passes away though, she is such a class act that no one will ever top her.
I cried when MacDonald Carey died. I was a teen, but I had watched Days of our Lives since I was little. I cried when Robin Williams died. I had a personal movie marathon and wallowed in my sadness for a few days. It hit me really hard, probably because of my own issues with depression.
Cher will probably hurt, just because I have been a but for her for so long. Julie Andrews, too.
