Yeah...no offense intended to Ms. Glover, but is she a big enough name that would draw that much more box office than Tryphena Wade would that week? I don't really see it, but maybe don't know her enough beyond Memphis and Into the Woods.

They'll be awful. Glover isn't a draw and the July 4th week/weekend is typically a ghost town for Broadway/NYC.

Agreed. The lone issue with that is there's no other cover for Rose. Wade is the only cover. I don't think it would have passed AEA to have let Wade gone on an entire week unless the show got another rose understudy.

Darn.. I've never felt moved by Montego Glover's performances. Was really hoping for Heather. Oh well. $ saved. If anyone involved is reading this - - - any way to still facilitate a Heather stint?? Wishful, fantastical thinking, I know, and imagine she might've already been approached but... just want to put it out into the universe.

Why are people acting like this production has been playing to half-empty houses? It's been consistently clearing well over $1mil weekly. This production will easily last through the summer.

Mine has!  All acting from the neck up.  Not grounded on any truth.
