Little Shop of Horrors will have an understudy on for Seymour all week. So Jeremy Jordan is out this week.

This is right out of the Trump line of reasoning. “Test less and then we won’t have as many positive cases to deal with.”
A-symptomatic spread will result in people getting infected and possibly having a symptomatic case, or worse.
In an industry which is full of singing, resulting in whatever’s inside the body coming outside the body to linger in the air,in a packed auditorium, this would be a foolish approach. IMO."
Isn't that the direction we need to move in though? A focus on symptomatic cases instead of cases in general? I actually feel like the NFL is a little bit ahead of where we will be eventually as a society.

can someone please remind me (and perhaps others): what's the denominator for that 19 figure?

I think its the year? Since it was first discovered in 2019. I'm probably wrong so someone correct me haha

I agree. This is where we need to move. Just like the flu- you only test if you have flu symptoms. You don't test the entire office for the flu if only one person is positive for it.

Here's my go to as keeping track of what's playing tonight is impossible but this site is great:
A rundown of current Broadway shows and their planned show times, as well as cancellations due to COVID.

So it looks like the answer is 31. Of the 31 shows that are on Broadway right now, 19 have a show still scheduled for tonight. So that means that 12 don’t.

You can treat covid like the flu, once it’s no longer labelled a pandemic.
It is not the time, right now, when at any moment health systems can become overwhelmed again, and spread can be rapid and dangerous.
Testing less is not the answer at this time, and the NFL is simply wrong IMO, and only doing it because money.

Covid is transitioning to endemic but we can agree to disagree on the NFL's new policy.

BUT... everyone's favorite Casey Garvin has revealed on his Insta story he will not be back until next week. Expect Brian Martin to be on as a swing for a while.

> Covid is transitioning to endemic
Um, perhaps.
Historical patterns strongly suggest covid will transition to endemic. But we don't know yet whether covid will follow that patter OR whether omicron represents the mark of that transition, so the prediction is premature.
There's still a lot of letters left in the Greek alphabet. :)
