I'd be flying in from Oklahoma City - been planning this trip for years at this point. lol!"
I'll be flying in from LA next Wednesday for a theater trip I was supposed to take in March 2020. Have tickets for Flying Over Sunset, Caroline, Assassins, Kimberly Akimbo, Clyde's, and Girl From the North Country. So far all of their track records seem good, but if anything cancels I'm going to try to grab Company (I already have tickets in April, but who knows what will last that long at this point?) I came close to canceling the whole trip amid all the shutdowns last week, but at this point I need to look after my mental health as much as my physical health...and I know my mental health needs this. I'm vaxxed and boosted and hope there are shows for me to see when I get there!

I am sitting in the airport right now. This is EXACTLY how I felt. Went back and forth a hundred times on whether to cancel or not. But I decided to go for my mental health and I’ll just take things as they come. If any of my 10 shows cancel over the next few days I’ll just see what else I can get tix to instead. Also I’ve let go of hoping to see anyone specific and will enjoy some amazing understudy performances if needs be. Can’t wait!!!

If that comes back giving me the all clear then I plan to go. Of course, that could change but since my hotel reservation is non-refundable, I’ll likely go unless I end up with Covid beforehand. I plan to see Company and Caroline, or Change (plus Assassins), too."
Maybe we're on the same flight! I am jealous you got tickets to Assassins. I would absolutely love to see it."
I’m flying out on Delta at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 1/4. I don’t actually have any tix yet. Assassins has been releasing tickets a few days ahead of time so I plan to grab one once I know my PCR test is negative. I plan to grab my other tix at TKTS
"
How are you monitoring Assassins tickets? When have they been releasing them?

Saw The Prom tour last night. Kaden and Kalyn were both out as was Brittany who plays Shelby(and is the 2nd cover for both Emma and Alyssa). There were 4 debuts happening. 2 missing people in ensemble also as their only female swing covers the older characters.
No clue if Kaden, Kalyn or Brittany have covid. Would kinda suck to have to quarantine in a city you don't know.
Assassins tickets pop up pretty regularly on the CSC website. They become available as people return them, so it could happen at any time in the weeks, days, or hours before the showtime. But mostly it’s the week of.
Just keep checking the ticket calendar regularly - the more often you check, the better your chances of snagging them when they pop up.

Ted Arthur was also called in as an emergency conductor this week in Hershey - he worked on the Broadway production and just closed Diana last week!
I had tickets for Waitress this week that I obviously won't be using now that it's closed. My issue is that I purchased them directly from the box office and don't know how to go about getting my refund now. It says that they'll be available at the point of purchase but I assume the box office isn't up and running now, and when I searched my order number on Telecharge nothing came up. Has anyone had experience with this?

Brings Broadway up to 28 shows scheduled to perform today.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Did you purchase cash or card? If card, should automatically be refunded. That's what happened with my OOTI tickets when the show closed a few years ago.
Ashley Loren has confirmed she will be on for Satine when Moulin Rouge! returns tonight; she is also on both shows tomorrow. Mendoza is set to return on New Year’s Day.
Short version: Their cast is currently 5 Broadway standbys, 4 regular cast, 2 former cast members from months/year past, and Marika from the tour. If one female tests positive, they can't do the show. If two males test positive, the same. They apparently get to the Schoenfeld hours before, sit social distanced in the lobby, and wait to get their rapid PCRs.

they're very fortunate to have Marika there and also for Pearl Sun & Holly Ann Butler to be able to join now. Imagine if Diana didn't close(Butler's last show) or Marika wasn't in town? Josh Breckenridge just chilling in the back taking notes all week.

I find something so special in the “Come From Away” production pulling people from all over to put the show on. I know other shows are doing this too but for some reason it just feels more special for that particular show.

Ask equity"
There's a reciprocal agreement between American & Canadian Equity. It would have more to do with getting a work visa in a timely manner.

Hopefully the 8 actors that are out in COME FROM AWAY are back shortly. Sharon Wheatley posted on her Instagram that she got it a week ago, so curious to see when she and the others return.

Not a cancellation, but it is worth noting that the full company of Mrs. Doubtfire is back as of today, according to Mark Evans’s Instagram story. So glad to hear everyone has fully recovered…and what a wonderful birthday present for Casey Garvin!
