The last show was amazing today. We have some of the most amazing fans I've ever seen. Thank you to all you guys.
If you want to see the girls who dressed up in costumes today, I have their picture on my myspace page. These girls are so fun. They have attended at least one or two shows every week since I took over as MD. You can see them at www.myspace.com/mdjimmyv.
Wedding Singer fans rock. I had a blast. It was an honor. I'm very proud to be part of TWS.

Thank you for your contribution to this wonderful show! It was so great to be sitting up front today and to hear the audience responses to the show! A Wonderful memory!
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block
Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

So sad to this show go. I started to bawl from the first note of the opening number. As soon as I felt I was ok, I noticed Christina Sivrich was bawling and I lost it again. I didn't stop crying the entire show.
It was an amazing run, and honestly a run of 8 months isnt that bad of a run as everyone makes it seem.
i hope nothing but great things for those amazing people in the future.
the audience was amazing. the show was amazing. i was dying during curtan call. it was so sad to see them all up there for the last time. :sniffles:

All I can say is, what a show tonight!
Everyone seemed amped...including the cast and audience. I had so much fun cheering for all of the cast...it seemed as though the audience really treasured every little gesture, line, joke, and song. (Which the cast deserved, being this is their last show...forever!)
And yep, sorry to say that I broke the rules (along with everybody else who had their camera out) during the curtain call, which was emotional...many of the cast members were crying, as well as some of the audience.
And yes, Stephen DID come out...at around 7:15...so whomever said they left at that time, you JUST missed him!
Yep, I will miss this show, but am excited to see what these truly talented actors do next...
By the way...it was fun talking to a bunch of people from this board before the show, and after, while waiting at the stage door. Everyone I talked to today was very friendly and willing to talk to anyone, which was cool. (I kinda feel like this doesn't happen too much in society anymore, so today was nice!)
Best of luck to the cast and crew of The Wedding Singer!
Best wishes for a healthy, happy 2007 to all!

Happy New Year, All!
Perhaps we'll all meet in another thread for another show. Until then, carry on the WEDDING SINGER love into 2007. Just because the show has closed...doesn't mean it's memory has faded. It's just as strong as ever.
