They're going to have to replace Eddie Cooper over at PIRATES!, but it shouldn't be that big a deal."
Very happy to hear the entire company is doing the Broadway run.

The show that might have been the best reviewed show of 2024 and was on numerous top 10 lists will open and close on the same day? Ok, got it. Did you actually see it? Because I did and thought it was brilliant. It will have amazing word of mouth. Do I think it will last more than a year without any names? Likely not. But I think it will be a huge contender for the Tonys.

Dead Outlaw is now up on Telecharge, in advance of today's 10am presale. In looking at the seating chart on Telecharge, I noticed something strange. Their seating chart (you all have seen the one that has light blue dots in the orch, and slightly darker blue dots in mezz and balcony) indicates Mezzanine overhang starts at Orch Row M. All other seating charts I've seen on the web, including the Telecharge blue dot version that I found on BroadwayDirect https://broadwaydirect.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/longacre-theatre-seating-chart-072116.pdf indicates the overhang starts at Row H. That's a pretty big discrepancy--anyone know which one is accurate?
Maybe you were seeing some sort of test? Dead Outlaw is not listed on Telecharge currently when I look on the main menu. You have to search to find it, so it may not be a final layout.
And there's no seat map as of 8:45.
Seat map link works now, indicating Row M. From photos of the interior of the Longacre, looks like Row M is correct.

No test, it was up around 8am when I posted, same as it is now. You had to look at the full list of shows to find Dead Outlaw, and click on Venue & Access to see the seating chart.
EDITED TO ADD: Once the onsale began the dynamic seating chart did indicate that the overhang of the Mezz was at Row M. And if you missed the top-secret, hush-hush presale code, it's ELMER.
FYI to all that I just logged in to the sale to get ready and it let me purchase my ticket. Perhaps someone at Telecharge made a mistake in allowing purchase ability early?
Edit: Ticket prices were shockingly high. I got a ticket toward the front of the balcony for $104 but most orchestra seats were in the $250-$300 range.

Wow prices too high on this for me. This was going to be the last show I saw in May, but almost $300 for mid to back Orch and nearly that for Mezz is just too much for an unknown for me. Hopefully there will be a code or I can get it on TKTs

It appears that tickets went on sale early, but it is asking for a presale code that I have not received from the email distro yet. Can anyone please post the code?

Code is ELMER.
The prices are out of control. I see this one opening and closing quickly. Not interested in $300 orchestra seats. And why can’t you buy seats in the first four rows? So annoying.

A lot of the back few rows of the orchestra aren't available for the pre-sale. Wonder if it would be worth just waiting for general on-sale tomorrow and maybe get a rear orchestra for $155 rather than $196.

Agreed on the pricing, way more than I wanted to spend. I took your route to the balcony, but rather than Row C for $104 I decided to really cheap out and went one row back for $84.

Thanks for the code, I am going to hold off on purchasing given these prices though. Hopefully they release the seats in the first few rows of the orchestra at more affordable prices later.
Yeah, no. They are aiming WAY too high with these prices.
Gone are the days of a special pre-sale discount or other incentive to buy ahead. These are all gonna be the same price tomorrow.
Considering this will probably end up on TDF, I’ll wait.
Hmm. Opens on April 27, the final eligible day. Is that enough to do decent at the Tonys?

I looked at the same seats we were in for “Swept Away” and they’re $30 more for this one, which is insane. I don’t know why I expected lower prices than these but I did.
I'd wait to buy tickets. I'd fully expect a discount code to pop-up for this.
Can't blame them for shooting for the moon on ticket prices. If no one buys, I am certain prices will drop.
For now, I wait. Someone will claim this body
Typical prices for this year honestly. But, this was never going to be an immediately sold out show for months on end. April is a long way away and they'll lower the ticket prices in the coming months if demand is soft.
This seems like a production that really would really benefit from packing previews with inexpensive tickets.

Agreed, they need a clever promotion to get people talking.

I have heard lots of good things about this show and signed up for the presale for a planned April trip. Damn. Those prices surprised me, although I’m limited to April 12 - the first preview - if I end up going.
I guess I’ll wait. This strategy seems odd, but maybe my expectations for a bargain in previews for a quirky show without big stars is unrealistic.
