Thanks, I hope to. Assuming I can score a regular priced ticket for his run... keep banging the drum against him, get people to cancel so I can get in there!
Haha. I'm done talking about a very, very bad person. Have a great time. Ben Platt is everything to that show, and I am so grateful that I have gotten to see him several times. I never want to see another person play Evan, again. You have your fun with StubHub, sweetheart.

Um okay. You ever heard of the concept of ACTING? That's what they do, isn't it? No one just plays themselves.

Noah Galvin immediately apologized for his comments, and his actions are forgivable. I don't blame you if you still hold them against him and choose not to see the show while he's in it, but it's a little much to cast him as some kind of singular evil being. If others still enjoy his acting and want to see the show, I hope you accept that as perfectly fine, too.
I think what he said about Haynes and Singer was very bad. Eric Stonestreet, however, deserved no apology because he is in fact a straight man playing a gay man in a very clownish way.

This^. Also, I don't think his characterization of Cameron is clownish in any way (except when he's actually a clown). Feminine gay men exist, and this show and his portrayal has allowed them to exist in open space without being ridiculed.
Caption: Every so often there was a rare moment of perfect balance when I soared above him.
I f*cking love how people are willing to die on the hill of friggin' Colton Haynes glass-closeted bullsh*t. Good lord, had Noah Galvin said something awful about a cancer patient, I'd get it. But it's one sh*tty, privileged member of young Hollywood mouthing off on another member of young Hollywood.

This sh*t is hilarious.
ALL OF THIS
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Noah also did a Trevor Project PSA about the exact subject after Real Oneals did a very on the nose episode about his character trying to force a girl out of the closet for what he claimed was the benefit of the other gay kids around them. What he said was awful, yes, but he was young and hopefully learned a lesson. The comments he made hurt his show and could have really harmed his career long term. Hopefully he has grown from that and changed his way of thinking and especially his way of speaking before considering the consequences.
Am I going to be the one? Yes...yes. Today, I think I am going to be the one.
Nothing he said in that interview was 'awful.' Nothing he said was 'horrible.' Inelegant? Sure. But I don't disagree with any of the points he made. Not about Haynes. Not about Stonestreet. And I don't remember what he wrote about Singer, but seriously? We're going to defend HIS honor? Jesus Christ. Down is up and up is down!
Something that always surprises me (which has more to do with my naïveté about the business in general) is how even if fans or audience members are turned off by someone, their views, their comments etc that doesn't always translate to that actor losing cache in the business or among friends.
It's hilarious that Margo, who never passes on the chance to say something insulting, is gonna come up here and act like the defender of decorum and civility.

It's like weight training. You have to train the muscles you don't use as much if you want balance.

Or getting elected president of the United States. It all comes from the top.
Ben Platt is a classy guy. Just read his posts about the two new replacements for him. I haven't been lucky enough to see the show yet. I hope to somehow before he leaves.
"Apparently, as a 21-year-old, Margo never said anything she regretted."
He was 22 when he said them and no, I would never insult the way someone chose to tell the world about their sexuality, insult an actor I do not know, and say something so disgusting about a producer they couldn't even use it an the interview. It's cute you'd defend someone so awful, yet people still condemn people who have done things 10 or 20 years ago, and they still get crap for it. Ridiculous. I certainly don't know anyone who would elude to someone being a pedophile with NO PROOF at the age of 22. He said those things a year ago and his people made him apologize because it screwed with ABC and future jobs. He meant everything he said. He was sober. He was awake. He was 22, he has zero excuse, which everyone thought a year ago. A fully grown adult. Why are you defending him? Wait, I don't even want to know the answer because I think I do, and it makes me sick.
I love that you all say "he apologized!" Haha like really? So you say really rude things about your fellow actors, but if you apologize you're fine? Please.

Exactly my sentiments. He's a young man and makes mistakes but lives his life truthfully. I loved Ben's performance even if I didn't care for the story line. I'm looking forward to seeing Noah's performance.
What is wrong with you? Seriously, get off your high horse. Everyone says crap they wish they could take back. He apologized for it and has yet to repeat the same behavior-- leading me to believe the apology was sincere.
Direct your moral outrage to someone who actually deserves it-- Chris Brown? Mel Gibson? David Duke? Donald Trump? I mean, really. The possibilities are endless.

Haha. Still mad about the fight we had, like a year ago, in which the actual OWNER of this site agreed with me and deleted your posts because he knew you were not telling the truth? Yeah, fun times. Civility? I am not talking about that at all. This punk kid insults 3 men, with more talent and experience that he will ever have in a really horrible way, and everyone just forgives him? Wow. So, if he insulted someone with cancer, everyone would be mad. Cool. So, that is the bar you've set here. Awesome.
