It's almost like the Miley Cyrus autobiography: Needless and unnecessary.

The version linked in the first post was the first time I've ever understood all the words to that song.

I blame Justin Bieber for this. Ever since he used YouTube to get noticed it has doomed us to wave after wave of crazy parents thinking they can do the same thing with their child.

Just like we can blame Lorne Michaels for accepting the Facebook petition for Betty White. Now every nut job seems to think that all it takes is a Facebook group to actually make something happen.

I wanted to make a snarky comment, but I'm far too creeped out by this whole thing. Now I just want to set up a Google Alert so I can be notified when he starts knocking over liquor stores.

^That had occurred to me! The only reason I can think of for her lack of appearance is that nobody has used his name in this thread, so it wouldn't turn up in her obsessive Googling of her Precious Snowflake.

Oliver Richman

Done. I want her to come. This place hasn't seen a good meltdown since the days of Emma.

Oh, my holy God and ****. When I was watching the original video, one of the (many) snarky comments that went through my mind was, "How long before this is featured on BWW TV?"

GUESS what popped up on the right-hand side of my screen. Go ahead, guess. I'll wait.

I really wasn't up to watching the whole video... Instead I read the YouTube comments where everyone seemed to be raving about him. All I could say was "really?" Glad to know I'm not the only one.

What the HELL? Where is Chris Hansen for all this? Predator, indeed.

Is it a rule that you must have spotty green makeup or weird green lighting if you're singing Defying Gravity? It must be.

I definitely do not want to tease a 9 year old, especially since I think he didn't have anything to do with editing this atrocious video. I will say that he has quite an impressive voice for someone so young (even though he sings through his nose a bit). But singing like that before his voice has fully developed may very well damage his voice for years to come. It just isn't healthy.

As for the video... it is just creepy beyond all words. And the website that his parents created for him is even creepier. Under special skills on his talent website, it actually says "Amazing, Amazing singer!!!, Incredible Dancer!, Very Smart!, Director, Producer."

Huh? At 9 years old, I'm sure that he's an INCREDIBLE director and producer...

Some people have way too much free time on their hands.

As a film student...I am cringing. And that is putting it kindly.

A particular favorite part: the incredibly awkward Titanic part with the girl who is obviously uncomfortable. Haha

Not good. At first I thought it was video of Eartha Kitt meeting a young fan then it went horribly wrong. Once I hear autotune, I shut down. That's not singing and that's not talent. Maybe to the "GLEE" crowd but not me. This kid will need a lot of therapy if his family keeps up with the nonsense.

I would have thought that more people would find it atrocious to be criticizing a child on a message board. I do.

They are going to destroy that boy's voice before it even starts changing.
